I use Bluehost for their hosting services. I like the fact that they have customer support where you can talk to a real person. Each time I have contacted them, I was pretty satisfied with their help. I called them once for a technical issue and then for an upgrade. In both instances, their customer reps were helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you are a beginner, it takes only a couple of hours to have your site up and running with all the necessary stuff. They are, I think, the best hosting service for a small website. Their plans are not expensive. I use Bluehost with WordPress for my website. The two are compatible. The navigation panel is straightforward. I used the Bluehost help section to get around as it's all new to me. Overall, I did not have a lot of trouble finding my way. I think the consensus is this: You expect 1: Websites and email to work properly at least 99.9 percent of the time- until now the sites at least have worked for the most part. Bluehost hosting plans provide quick loading times for websites with medium traffic. The shared hosting plans use SSD storage which results in improved performance and quick loading time. All the shared hosting plans come with unmetered bandwidth, which plays an important role when scaling your websites. The backend file management is provided by cPanel and that is a big advantage. I needed inexpensive hosting that I could scale with my business. Bluehost was a great option, until it came time to scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Bluehost? The scaling never went right. They never did get my website working properly, and every time any adjustments were made or services increased (along with the amount I paid), my website would go offline, and remain offline for weeks. Worse, regardless of how many times I spoke with their techs, nobody could figure out what they did wrong, and mislead me multiple times as to how long it would take to fix. After six weeks of waiting and calling, the last person I spoke with (and I only called then to cancel services), told me I should have fixed it myself and insisted that, had I just asked, someone could have walked me through the workaround. I finally had to get very nasty with this person to finally get him to cancel my service and refund my money. I lost approximately $25,000 in sales in that final six week period alone.
