"Bluedot saves time and improves cross-team communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

What I like best about Bluedot is how it keeps our marketing and CRM meetings organized. The transcripts are accurate, and the summaries make it easy to share action items across teams. I also appreciate that it’s bot-free, so meetings feel natural for everyone involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluedot?

The speaker identification could be stronger. Right now, it often defaults to “Speaker A” or “Speaker B,” and we need to update the names afterward. The templates are good, but I’d like more options tailored for marketing and campaign planning meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Call Transcription and Insights with Bluedot"
5/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

I really liked Bluedot as a service for recording and transcribing calls. First of all, it works “silently,” without any bots on the call, so the process looks as natural as possible and does not distract participants. The transcription quality is also impressive: the service recognizes even technical conversations well and correctly transmits names and specific terms. I would like to separately mention AI-Insights — it is a really useful tool that shows who spoke how much, where there were pauses, and how the communication went in general, which is very helpful for quickly analyzing a call. Another big plus for me is that Bluedot supports many languages, including Ukrainian. In terms of security, everything is also at a high level: the service complies with GDPR requirements, so you can work with confidential information with peace of mind. And most importantly, Bluedot really saves time. Thanks to automatic transcripts and AI summaries, you don't have to spend hours taking manual notes after meetings, and you can feel the difference from the very first days of use. What do you dislike about Bluedot?

Sometimes the transcription still needs to be tweaked a little manually — especially when there are many participants in the call or someone speaks with a strong accent. It's not critical, but it does happen. The free version also has its limitations: the limit on the number of recordings and downloads is quickly reached if you use the service regularly. Another nuance is that Bluedot works best with Google Meet, and although that's fine for me, it would be nice to have broader integrations, such as with Zoom or Teams. And, of course, there's the question of cost: for active teams or a large number of calls, the price of the Pro or Business plans may seem high, so it's definitely worth considering before signing up. I really admire how Bluedot is super easy to set up, allowing me to simply click on the blue dot and begin recording without any hassle. This straightforward setup significantly streamlines my workflow, saving me precious time and effort. Additionally, I appreciate the accuracy of the transcriptions, which are processed almost instantaneously. This allows me to review and act on the recorded content right away, adding to the overall efficiency of my tasks. The constant reminder that the recording is happening provides a very comforting validation, making sure I am always aware that everything is being captured appropriately. "Innovative Transcription, Improvement of Necessary Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

I greatly appreciate Bluedot for its transcription capabilities, which are remarkably accurate, allowing for easy editing, especially by adding the names of the speakers. This level of precision in transcription ensures accurate documentation of conferences. The option to go directly back to the exact spot in the video, when it is recorded, helps immensely in verifying what was said, which contributes to maintaining the integrity of the information exchanged during calls. Moreover, the summary aspect is equally impressive with actionable plans and various types of templates available, offering flexibility and diversity in managing the output of information. I use Bluedot to record, transcribe, and summarize my conference calls, which improves my efficiency and focus by eliminating the need to take manual notes, allowing me to fully concentrate on communicating with my direct interlocutors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluedot?

I think what could be improved is the integration with Google Meet, which is not necessarily straightforward. I am not sure if the person on the other side sees the recording or is informed that the conversation is being recorded. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Meeting Notetaking with Privacy Assured"
4/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

I find Bluedot incredibly easy to use, as it operates seamlessly as a Chrome extension, requiring just a click to start capturing meetings automatically. This effortless setup significantly enhances my experience by allowing me to focus on the meeting rather than getting bogged down with technical steps. I appreciate the strong emphasis on privacy because Bluedot does not need to join meetings to capture and record notes, which reassures me that sensitive conversations remain private and protected. Moreover, the initial setup was extremely easy, which meant I could integrate it into my workflow almost immediately without any hurdles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluedot?

I find the lack of integration with more applications outside of Chrome limiting. Currently, I have to join all meetings via the browser, which is not always optimal, particularly when certain meetings are better suited for specific applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving and Seamless for Meeting Notes"
5/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

I love how Bluedot is seamless, effortlessly integrating into both face-to-face and online meetings. It enhances my meeting experience by not inserting a bot into online meetings, which I particularly appreciate as it allows for a more natural interaction. I use Bluedot extensively for personal notes during meetings, which helps me remember discussions and stay fully present without the distraction of manually taking notes. This ability to focus entirely on the conversation without missing out on key action points adds tremendous value to my meetings. The time I save from not having to divide my attention between participating and noting significantly improves the quality of my meetings. The application also provides me with a comprehensive summary that aids in follow-ups, making my workflow more efficient and ensuring I don't overlook important details. Additionally, setting up Bluedot was a breeze, taking only two minutes, which illustrates its user-friendly nature. Overall, these features collectively enrich my productivity and meeting effectiveness, prompting me to highly recommend it to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluedot?

I find it somewhat limiting that Bluedot is only available as a Google Chrome plugin, which means I need to use that specific browser to access Bluedot's functionalities. While this isn't a significant downside for me, it is still a limitation since I use other browsers as well. Additionally, I haven't had the chance to try out the AI functionality for searching through multiple meetings in the archive. If that feature isn't effective, it could be less beneficial than anticipated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good summaries with some issues off gmeet + speaker recognition"
4/5
What do you like best about Bluedot?

I find Bluedot extremely beneficial for AI note-taking and summaries, particularly in client meetings. It excels in reducing the time and effort required to take meeting notes, which allows me to focus better during discussions. I am impressed by the great AI summaries generated by Bluedot, as they are comprehensive and include clear action items. The AI over-explains rather than under-explains, ensuring that no details are missed, which is a significant advantage over other services I have used before. It's also satisfying that the initial setup of Bluedot was straightforward, allowing for a quick onboarding experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluedot?

I find the insights tab in Bluedot problematic because it is permanent and often misinterprets speaker recognition, especially in medium to large-sized group meetings, which occupies unnecessary space. It would be more beneficial if this feature could be toggled on or off according to my needs. Additionally, the speaker recognition feature struggles significantly when participants are not among the three main speakers, leading to inaccuracies that impact the tool's effectiveness. The setup was easy, but there's confusion about when to use the extension to start a recording versus viewing all recordings, which could be streamlined. Moreover, there's a struggle when using Bluedot outside of Google Meet, coupled with the persistent insights tab issue, which diminishes the overall user experience. The automatic summarization of main points from meetings is incredibly useful, as it makes my job easier and ensures I capture all crucial information without missing anything. I appreciate the ease of setup, as it doesn’t stress me out, and its compatibility with Google Meet, which enriches my virtual meetings experience. These features collectively solve the problem of manual transcription and note-taking, improving my workflow efficiency.
