"Migrated from SFMC to Bluecore for our transactional emails to customers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Bluecore?

During the migration, we had great engagement from the Bluecore team to help us understand their technology. That engagement and understanding were vital as we had a timeline for our SFMC contract ending. So it helped us get set up within that timeline while also knowing we were set up for long-term success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

The way to publish or "use draft" for email templates was a little confusing. A more straightforward approach would be preferred.

Our code logic checks which instance (sandbox, development, staging, production) to determine whether to include "use draft" in the API call to Bluecore for transactional emails. So we are setup fine, however if we publish a new version of that transactional template and then forget to also publish a draft version after that, then the lower instances API calls for transactional emails will fail. "Great platform, but way too expensive."
2.5/5
What do you like best about Bluecore?

Being able to target different segments of audiences, being able to automate multiple triggers such as abandoned product, search, cart, next best purchase, etc. It's great to be able to showcase different dynamic blocks of products as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

There are way too many glitches, and the price kills it for us smaller to medium-level companies. I like the idea of being priced on per click, but there needs to be a way to segment out emails that go out for impression and clicks, and not clicks for conversions. "Easy to use interface, client hander excellent, support services great"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Bluecore?

Email Visual Editor for building emails is really easy to use and has so much functionality, you can send fully personalised emails without needing to code them yourself. Having templates and widgets configurable is so useful for running seasonal campaigns which will include a mix of the same content. Love how easy it is to configure audiences and customer journeys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

The wording while setting up conditions for emails, site campaigns, and audiences, can be quite counter-intuative and require more discussion around what behavious it is targeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

I'm still finding huge halts within our emails and I don't completely understand the way the data is pulled from our site but Mark is always trying to explain it as best as he can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best ESP Ever!"
5/5
What do you like best about Bluecore?

Bluecore is one of the best ESP's I have ever used. The tool is great to use. Simple & efficient. But the AI is really what makes it standout over others. Being able to bring in predictive elements into audiences and campaigns is next level. I love using this tool each and every day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

What I dislike about Bluecore's tool is also what I like about it and speaks to the team behind the scenese. Anytime we find a way to use the tool that wasn't intended or break the tool, we work with the team to create what we need. We have had a lot of enhancements over the years because we are power users that I don't think anyone foresaw but we worked through those issues and came out better on the other side and helped the tool grow. I couldn't do what I do today without the help of our Bluecore team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

The backend system is a bit more outdated than other platforms, and I would love to see a more user-friendly refresh that provides industry recommendations regarding commonly triggered campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest downside of Bluecore is the reporting that is provided. The reporting is not very actionable as there is not year over year comps or any comparisons for that matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bluecore?

As with any 3rd party vendor, some customization is critical for maximum client impact. However, we were up and running our first five personalized and dynamic email campaigns in less than two months. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
