BlueApe is the AI-native ERP for small and midsize wholesale distributors that run on QuickBooks. It was built by a distributor: the founder ran a plastics distribution business for fifteen years, spent four years on the early team at Tristar AI building computer vision for factory floors, and built BlueApe because nothing he could buy did the work the way a distributor actually works. It runs his own distribution business today. The email is the order. In distribution, an RFQ arrives as a sentence, not a form: "need pricing on 250 sheets .060 PETG 48 x 96" or "same as last time but in black." BlueApe reads the incoming email, matches the item against your catalog including the descriptions your customers actually use, checks live inventory, applies that customer's contract pricing, drafts the quote and the reply, and follows up until there is an answer. A person reviews and hits send. Nothing reaches a customer without approval. When the customer says yes, the quote becomes a sales order, the purchase order goes to the vendor, inventory is allocated at the license-plate level, and the shipment is booked with UPS, FedEx, or your carrier. Freight invoices are audited line by line against what was booked, and overcharges are flagged for review. A customer portal and chat handle status questions so your team is not answering "where is my order" all day. QuickBooks stays your books, Online or Desktop. BlueApe works with HubSpot and Microsoft 365, and it does not replace the systems already keeping your business running. Pricing is one flat subscription per company. Everyone on your team gets everything. There are no per-seat fees and no implementation fee: if AI can learn your catalog, pricing, customers, and quote history quickly, getting started should not require a consulting engagement. Most distributors are quoting through BlueApe in two to four weeks on their own catalog and their own customer pricing, after a free trial on their own RFQs. BlueApe is for the $5M to $100M distributor running on QuickBooks, spreadsheets, a shared inbox, and one person who knows how the pricing really works: plastics, metals, PVF, hose, fasteners, electrical, industrial and MRO supply, lumber and building materials, wire and cable.
