How it implemented the inventory management formulas and supply chain structures in a relatively large scale. Took a scientific approach to recommend inventory for our highly complex supply chain. The UI was not very responsive and not very user friendly for a company with 9000+ parts to review/optimize for. Lack of sensitivity analysis capability for raw material supply lead times. Recommendations to others considering Blue Yonder Inventory Optimization: It would work better for a shorter, more horizontal supply chain (as opposed to one with 90 days of lead time and 4 intermediate product types).
