I like the fact that JDA projects decent forecast based on historical data. Also, I really like the ability to adjust any anomalies in historical data so that the ongoing forecast remains unaffected. Version that I used did not allow mass update of promo periods so all the dates had to be manually entered one by one for each sku which took significant amount of time.
