Customer service not always have the best answers and analysis to solve the root cause of some issues that we have had in the past. Other than that, everything has been running smoothly.

It is just an amazing tool! We can see everything, but BR helps us to focus on specific areas that require attention. It is a more proactive way of managing our product. We can drill down into the real issues that were masked before without the level of organization that BR has given us. It also helps to keep our team in line with what is happening and to achieve common goals.
The support that we have received is inspiring. The BR team is enthusiastic about seeing our company succeed and has helped us take great strides over the past few years.

Not only can we remain organized on an item level, but we can roll everything up, especially with the reporting system, to show higher levels. This system allows ALL within our company to benefit, from our buyers reviewing specific details on an item level to our SMT being able to review overall trends and accuracy levels. We can see what we need and bring the right product in at the right time.

The planning solution is of significant value to any organization - when you couple that with analytics and their Lifeline Support Team it's a winning combination! They also bring together a large user group to their annual BluePrint Conference. This is an excellent opportunity to see the future of their solutions, many educational courses to improve system usage, real-life case studies from actual users of their systems, and networking opportunities with other Supply Chain Professionals.

As the need for Supply Chain solutions grows, the customer support requirements will increase at Blue Ridge as they are a leading solutions provider. They have been able to stay in front of the increased demand as they've grown, and I hope they continue to do so as individualized customer support is a leading part of their success.

Blue Ridge SCP is a very straightforward, easy-to-use, tool that makes supply and demand planning efficient and powerful. SCP helps shape company directives to accomplish objectives and goals. Once company data is inputted and validated, Blue Ridge does all the statistical heavy lifting to enable success. As a distributor, it is all about lowering our total inventory investment while keeping up with demand and growth. Blue Ridge SCP does just that. 

Aside from the tool itself, working with the team at Blue Ridge is an absolute joy. The Blue Ridge team takes the time to learn about your business and set it up for success. The ability to customize and cater the tool to your specific industry and needs, is a benefit you can not get anywhere else. Blue Ridge is a big family that I am happy to be a part of!

There are some quality-of-life improvements that I would personally like to see. I have faith they will eventually be corrected with each update. More in-depth dashboard filters please (multiple locations) :)  .

From first impressions to helping solve issues, the Blue Ridge Global team has always been at our side.

There is not a lot to dislike about this company. They truly care.

We are a Fresh and Frozen delivery warehouse company with sites up and down the East Coast that owns the product we are shipping out to our Customers. Using the Blue Ridge Global software has given us better visibility into what products we have and what we need to order. The ability to run reports against the Clarity program has been a huge win. The Clarity program has been a lifesaver in ensuring we have enough products to service the Customer without having vast amounts of spoilage simultaneously. The products we buy range from a shelf life of as little as five days to products with a shelf life of 18 months or more.

Not much to dislike. Still need to keep an eye on PO's, but that is the same for all replenishment systems.

It helps us optimize the portfolio of products in stock, and run automatic reports. It facilitates the process of creating purchase orders, generating free time to focus on analyzis and other areas for improvement.
The system will give you a heads up for critical items, so you can act before you run out of stock.

The access to data to make decisions in realtime is super helpful.  The ability to review demand exceptions in a timely manner is great.  I am able to review and place many orders while minimizing excess inventory in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

I have no complaints about Blue Ridge.  I have always received timely responses from my contact when I have questions, and their data team consistently processes requests for mass updloads when requested.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge helps us maximize our in stock rates while minimizing overstock.  With little effort, we have the ability to change settings to increase or decrease inventory as we see fit, while targeting the items or suppliers to meet our objective.  There is no need to cast a wide net if we dont want to, however the ability is there if we want to encapsulate all items or suppliers.
This is especially helpful with events such as Cyber Monday, where we added hold outs to many items to drive in extra inventory and hold it for a specified period of time.  This gave us the ability to dictate what items and in what qty, we wanted to order and hold in inventory while avoiding overordering items that were not participating in the event.

The Blue Ridge tool is easy to navigate and provides detailed information that allows me to make efficient inventory replenishment decisions.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

There are a few "bugs" within the tool.  They don't deter the outputs of the tool. However, they cause extra steps.  Specifically, when reviewing and accepting Due for Service orders, the system doesn't advance to the next order; you have to back out to the dashboard and repeat the process.   A "wish-list" feature for the tool would be specific to materials/items that aren't available for replenishment and could be "turned off" and still populate with lost sales/forecasts.  I'm aware of the activate/deactivate feature and utilize it; however it doesn't capture lost sales.

Breakthru Beverage and Blue Ridge Global are consistently working together to modify the tool to reflect our business needs.  Most recently, with the creation of Activity Codes specific to our business cycles.

I enjoy seeing the OID screen, and being able to manage the view so quickly. Having the ability to have MEIO and dependent demand has also been an enormous help.

We've been told we can not simultaneously have an MEIO and transfer logic turned on. Although MEIO is a great tool, it's challenging to manually rebalance serval DCs using an offline tool.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge is helping us create the most optimal buys on a user-friendly platform. It has been able to link up serval of the RNDC ERP systems into one tool. The due for service dashboard is a great daily tool that has given our team a 360 view to what they need to work on.

Our company transitioned from Excel based planning to using Blue Ridge as our planning tool. We immediately saw an increase in order fulfillment and a decrease in overstock.

I have been using Blue Ridge for over five years and I have yet to have a single complaint. When a technical issue arises, their team is extremely quick in figuring out why the issue is occuring and deciding the best way to fix the issue.

Blue Ridge has transformed the way our company orders product. In the past, we were slow in reacting to an increase or decrease in customer demand. With Blue Ridge, we are immediately able to see what items have experienced increased demand. This allows to get more product ordered in a timely fashion and decrease our stock outs.

We have been using Blue Ridge for many years. We like their evolution in supply chain planning over the years. That being said, they continue to push forward with improvements and lead the industry in a system that can be used by various businesses worldwide. We look forward to seeing what will come next!

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Our biggest issue over the years is getting the system to buy short-shelf-life items like produce and fresh meats. Trying different tools and mechanisms takes a lot to get an accurate SOQ, especially on vendors bought several times per week. We still buy and use it more as a template than a fine-tuned program.

The innovation we see at Blue Ridge is second to none. They have invested in supply chain planning, and as a customer, I know they take every one of us as an equal investment in the future of SCP.

**What do you like best about Blue Ridge Global?**

Blue Ridge has made ordering and inventory planning quicker, more accurate, and more efficient than ever before. I cannot imagine going back to manually creating our orders as we did before switching to Blue Ridge.  I feel much more confident in our supply chain planning, even after two of the most challenging years in recent memory. Their ongoing support since we launched has been incredibly helpful and their reporting metrics and visualizations help us understand our business better than ever. Each month we are building out more functionality based on their numbers and calculations and we are only beginning to scratch the surface of what Blue Ridge has to offer us.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Blue Ridge does not work equally well for all items. It is most helpful for inventory with relatively high sales volume and shorter lead times, but it is less effective when predicting sales for items with slow, intermittent sales.  I also wish we had more control over how Blue Ridge calculates our costs for each item. Blue Ridge uses a flat percentage to calculate the cost of holding inventory, but we were used to taking a much more granular approach to the costs of warehousing and shipping each item.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blue Ridge has significantly reduced the amount of time I spent planning our orders while inspiring greater confidence in our sales forecasts.  This means I have more time to spend developing other parts of our business, and better numbers to use while doing so.

The speed and accuracy of the software.  It has come a long way and has enabled us to help balance our inventory.

SCP is one day behind our ERP system.  It would be helpful to be able to update the SCP system at least one time during the day because we have a lot of 1 day lead-time vendors.

They were able to set up an internal suggested stock transfer function that is very helpful to identify overstock and help to balance our inventories.

Lots of data at our fingertips that we didn't have before. Able to create all kinds of reports in SCA to help decision-making.

Date codes are huge in our industry, and Blue Ridge does not offer the ability for date codes to drive order optimization. Blue Ridge provides enhancement requests; however, my requests have not been addressed. We also cannot know and understand all of the back-end math due to proprietary reasons; our team likes to dig down to understand better the data being presented.

Blue Ridge is helping us to create better, more cost-efficient ordering with our vendors. Also helping us save time each day by not having to look at every single item's forecast and trusting the data.

Blue Ridge Global visualizes the forecasting of each product.  There are queues for the purchasing team to make daily/weekly activities easy.  From a data integration standpoint, the system is very flexible and provides many different levels of integration.  Their support team is knowledgeable and responsive.  When we have a special request, they work to resolve it very quickly.  We have a lifeline coach that works with our team to help us get the most out of our investment.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

We were one of or the first Eclipse ERP user to integrate with Blue Ridge Global; therefore had a lot of learning and troubleshooting to get the settings and integration tweaked to work well with our system.

**What problems is Blue Ridge Global solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their system makes it easier for us to visualize the forecasting, which helps our purchasing department adapt and plan our purchasing more easily.  The system also has the tools to allow us to make changes when there are unforeseen environmental variables that make forecasting difficult.  For example, the COVID-19 Pandemic caused disruptions in our supply chain, which we could adjust to in Blue Ridge rather quickly.  Before the Pandemic, we were seeing a reduction in our inventory which we contributed to more accurate seasonal forecasting.

The multiple forecasting models help hone in on an item's behavior, whether a new item, old item, lumpy, or seasonal; their ever-evolving forecast models make sense of the item and apply good forecasts to them.

The cost of service is extremely useful in determining service levels and financials to get there.

IBP was a much-needed extension to Blue Ridge to help drill service and performance down to the store, group, or item-level monitoring.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

Limited user-defined fields, while they can be added to SCA, would like to have had them more native in the application.

More controls or data fields in supplier and admin.  If a smaller company wanted to engage BR as an ERP solution, it is close to being just that. Needs more around inventory or stock views at an aggregate and a way to release stock to make it either an ERP or WMS whole solution.

Dislike all the add on's for additional fees.  Many years ago was sold this product with the intent of IBP as part of the solution, not that I would have to pay extra for it down the road.

Easier ways to do "mass" anything, not being so rigid on the search fields.

BlueRidge delivers all needed functionality without setting up "your process". It has extensive integration with many parameters, making the standard solution work on all our complex processes. We asked the vendor 15 in-depth questions to understand if they could solve our challenges. They answered in writing and asked if they could show us how it is done in their test system - without setting up our processes!
It's easy to use and gives immediate results.

Nothing. But setting up many companies could have better copy functionality.

There is not much I dislike about Blue Ridge.  Most of the issues I see are due to the parameters my company has globally set up for us.

Blue Ridge is a very logical supply chain planning system. The baseline statistical forecast generated performs well at the global down-to-item level. The inventory management and buying process is relatively easy for the user to navigate. The ability to see and analyze and display data is excellent. The training and support teams within Blue Ridge are top-notch.

The collaborative forecasting and S&OP tool is relatively young in its development. I'd like more investment to mature this module to round out the base SCP system.

We have a very complex business channel with a TON of data which causes the night job processing to run a bit late.    This is not necessarily a Blue Ridge problem but it is an issue for us since it impacts buyer ability to begin their day and delays reports.

We are currently implementing IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and that will allow us to utilize templates to upload forecasts for specific "key" customers as well as report on forecast accuracy.

I like the system's flexibility; mass maintenance is a game-changer!  The reporting portal is also powerful; you can query any data, create reports such as pivot tables and dashboards, and have the system email reports to users on a schedule.

I honestly do not have any complaints about this software.  Whenever I have a business need, there is a help desk and a lifeline to help.  I am excited about the enhancements that are coming out as well!

The best thing to me is the demand forecasting function. The statistical algorithms, plus the in-program seasonal profile analysis and implementation, allow for very good forecast accuracy and bias.

**What do you dislike about Blue Ridge Global?**

The primary thing that I would add going forward would be the ability to control/limit access for some users to certain functions, while allowing for full/additional access for other users. Although, I am told that is in development.

Blue Ridge is allowing our company to be able to link all of our demand-side forecasting functions with the supply-side purchasing/inventory-planning functions. This is very useful as our processes mature, primarily S&OP.

We continue to have to micromanage the orders a little too much Regardless of how much tweaking and playing with the items and vendors we do.  It is the nature of our current business.  Lots of unpredictability.

As mentioned above, we are better at identifying issues before it is too late.   In addition, the ability to build orders based on vendor requirements while attempting to balance out the line.
