Powerful Tools, Hard to Use, Great Support, Increasing Fees **Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Adriane D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023 **What do you like best about Bloomerang CRM?** Bloomerang is a good CRM with many powerful tools that can be customized for almost everything you need. **What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?** During our transition from the old CRM to Bloomerang, they made a huge mistake in syncing donors with their credit card numbers and charged all our recurring donors the wrong amounts. We have a few donors who give $500 a month, and those amounts were charged to other folks! Can you imagine? It was extremely embarrassing for our organization. I just got notice that they are hiking up all transaction fees. Not cool. Non-profits are already paying huge donation fees, and Bloomerang is already expensive. We feel nickel and dimed. **What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bloomerang allows us to track constituent interactions much better. Reports are configurable to get the details you need. The dashboard is a fabulous all-in-one view of where you are from a Fundraising perspective. I love being able to see a complete view of a donor to prepare before meetings, and the ability to see it on a mobile device is even better. We are still new, 9 months in, so we have a long way to go to get full usage out of the tool. First-level support is gracious and quick to respond. They are helpful for all the things they can handle themselves. **What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?** We have had a number of issues with our integrations with Quickbooks and synching. Most of the time, my issues have to be escalated to a 2nd tier of support and that is when it can get pretty difficult. They are backed up most of the time and it can take a long time for them to provide a response and/or resolution. The Quickbooks integration is clunky and although we are still working through a number of issues, I'm unsure if it is actually a timesaver or not. It took me 9 months to get the integration setup because I was waiting on their integration team just to find out that I didn't need to and could move forward without them. I requested a discount or credit because I had to manually enter in both systems for those 9 months we were waiting and the answer I got was No. I'm disappointed in their support, services, and integration teams. **What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bloomerang helps us to have a holistic view into a donor from beginning to end and into the future. The email system is easy enough for anyone to use. **What do you dislike about Bloomerang CRM?** It's hard to customize or modify Bloomerang to fit different organizational needs. While the basic features all work, the system isn't made to handle or manage more complex databases. With other systems I've used they've been eager to help make services work best for my group, whereas Bloomerang seems quick to say no and leave you with what you have. **What problems is Bloomerang CRM solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helped manage our email database and track donors.
