What do you like best about Bloomberg Terminal?

Sometimes it is hard to find the correct ticker for specific underlying asset. Also, as a researcher, I usually use Bloomberg to draw charts for analysis, but find that somehow it is not user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bloomberg Terminal?

I love the plethora of information! Not only are you able to search and find information on nearly every index, equity, bond, and any other security created, but you can compare these features and find very helpful information. You can also export directly to Excel which is much easier than copying and pasting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bloomberg Terminal?

I do wish the layout was a little prettier. FactSet was more intuitive than Bloomberg and did not require a special terminal or keyboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Bloomberg Terminal:

Make sure to memorize the shortcuts that you need to type in to get to certain screens. It will make your research more efficient and you will be able to find more data quickly. Also get used to using the keyboard and typing in numbers that correspond to finding data as the keyboard is easier to use on Bloomberg than is the mouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bloomberg Terminal?

What do you dislike about Bloomberg Terminal?

A lot of additional windows pop up as soon as I start the program, which is really annoying.

Logging of automatically is unnecessary and express login does not help.

The software Bloomberg Terminal is one of the most powerful programs in the market when we talk about Financial Analysis. I like the way that the company put the numbers and the graphics in the interface.
