"Best 3D software and FREE!"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

It is light weight, flexible interface, powerful and has a lot of addons that makes your life easier.

I use it for 3D hard surface modeling and video editing. I don't need additional software to edit video renders, the builtin video editor is so powerful and easy to use.

As for 3D modeling, once you learn the shortcuts, it became so easy and fast to make the model. There is a lot of how-to videos (official and non-official).

The interface is sooo flexible, you can split, join, change the size of each screen and customize it as you wish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

Importing large FBX files is very slow! Although I have a powerful machine (32GB Ram, i7, Nvidia GF 1070) sometimes I wait for more than 10 minutes to import a large FBX file (>1 GB). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

Actually it is pretty hard to get going for beginners. One needs to do a kind of thorough course before getting started. I understand that this application is meant for professionals but the UI can be a bit user friendly too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
