"Blender for Photo-realistic 3D modelling and Animation"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

Blender is Open-Source and it has a lot of tutorials available on youtube. It took me less than a month to surprise myself with the outcome. It's very good for 3D modeling and animation. There is no limit to the photorealism you can achieve using blender. It also has advanced composting features and the models can be exported to game engines like Unity or Unreal. It's the perfect tool to learn and can make competitive photorealistic renders if used correctly. It can handle high-quality VFX as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

The animation part needs improvement. Slightly complex animation needs python programming. Also, it's not good for games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredible software that goes from strength to strength"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

Blender is probably the one piece of design software I could no longer be without. 3D, 2D, Animation, Sculpting, Hard surface, real-time rendering & cyclesX, and material/geometry nodes, it now covers a vast amount and the updates only make it even more incredible to use.

If I think of an idea for something I would like to create - Blender is the one piece of software that could usually handle anything I throw at it. Yes, there are more specialised bits of software I use alongside it, but at the centre of most of what I do these days - there is Blender. On top of that, the community around it has grown, is very welcoming and support with plugins, tutorials and content continues to grow rapidly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

I think the only downside I can really think of is that the UI for newcomers can still be a little overwhelming at first. It has improved a lot, but sometimes finding a specific feature isn't so easy. It is still evolving over time but again that does make it tricky after some updates when a feature has been moved to another panel or has been renamed to something else entirely. There is nothing I dislike about the software but for beginners, the UI can look very complex. There are lots of things in the blender but not everything we will use in our projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Free and powerfull software"
4/5
What do you like best about Blender?

Blender is free software, the possibilities of which are almost equal to any other, commercial software type. Software is a full-featured 3D modeling, rendering, and animation program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

The menu seems unreadable at first. Becoming friends with a GUI with such configuration options requires many hours of practice and browsing through hundreds of options, parameters and positions. It is difficult to learn in a few days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

It is very power-hungry and drains my laptop battery very fast. Not optimized well for portable devices. Should be run preferably on desktop computers only as it heats up the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
