"All in One Creative Powerhouse with a Supportive Community"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

What I appreciate most about Blender is how much it offers in a single application. I can model, animate, render, and edit projects without constantly switching between different software. As someone who enjoys learning and experimenting with creative ideas, Blender gives me the freedom to try new things without worrying about expensive licenses or subscriptions. I also like the large community around Blender. Whenever I get stuck, there are tutorials, forums, and resources that make it easier to learn and improve. It has a learning curve, but once I became familiar with the basics, it felt very rewarding to use. For me, Blender is a practical tool that combines professional-level features with accessibility, which is why it stands out from other creative software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

One thing I don't like about Blender is that it can feel overwhelming, especially when working on something new. Since it has so many features and tools, finding the right settings or workflow sometimes takes longer than expected. I still occasionally spend time searching for tutorials or solutions when I get stuck. I also find that certain tasks require a lot of trial and error before getting the result I want. While Blender is very powerful, the learning curve can be steep, and some parts of the interface aren't always intuitive for beginners. Despite that, the benefits outweigh the frustrations for me, and I keep coming back to it because of how much it can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized Our 3D Modeling Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

I like how fast you can go from an idea to a model and then put it into a game engine. Blender offers the freedom to fix anything from the weights, the bones, the UVs, to the topology. I have the ability to mirror geometry, weights, and animations, and I really like the sculpting tools for blocking out shapes. Blender provides a very clean export pipe for Unity and Unreal Engine. It never limits you, and the community and the amount of tutorials is massive. There's a lot of really nice add-ons, and I like the ability of having add-ons and being able to do everything in one app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

It's got a pretty steep learning curve. There's a lot to it and a lot of different things to learn. There could be cleaner FBX export settings, as setting up exports can be challenging. The controls are a little different compared to most editors. Better default weight painting tools are needed due to weight transfer and bone heat errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Blender: A Free, Full-Package 3D Tool with Great Rendering and Modeling"
4/5
What do you like best about Blender?

First of all, it’s free, so for anyone who’s willing to learn 3D animation and has an interest in learning art, this is one of the best options. When it comes to learning 3D, there aren’t many free software choices, but Blender really feels like a full package. It has great render engines and it’s great for modelling too, so I’d suggest it to anyone who wants to get into 3D animation and learn it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

RAM management is my main complaint. I have 64GB of DDR5 RAM, but it still gets laggy. For the GPU, I have a 5070 Ti with 16GB of VRAM, and it still slows down when there’s too much going on in a scene. That’s really the only issue, but I also run into a lot of crashes and end up losing some data, which I think is due to poor RAM management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Free, and Flexible—Blender Does It All in One Modern Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

What I like best about Blender is how powerful and flexible it is while still being free to use. The interface feels modern, and once you get used to it, the workflow becomes really smooth for modeling, animation, rendering, and even video editing. I also like the huge community around Blender because there are so many tutorials, add-ons, and helpful forums available online. It has improved my workflow by letting me do almost everything in one software instead of switching between multiple programs. The performance of the software is also Industry standard with the in-built integrations of other software like sculpting and modelling is also very helpful. Now, in this modern era the use of AI is becoming more and more effective as it solves most issues fast and has a higher chance of the project to be more pristine. What do you dislike about Blender?

One thing I dislike about Blender is that the learning curve can feel overwhelming for beginners, mainly because there are so many tools and shortcuts to remember. On top of that, some features and menus can seem a bit cluttered, especially when I’m working on larger projects and trying to find what I need quickly. I’ve also noticed that certain add-ons or renders can slow performance on lower-end systems, which can make the workflow feel less smooth. Even with these drawbacks, I still think Blender is one of the best all-in-one creative tools available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Free, and Versatile in more than just 3D"
4/5
What do you like best about Blender?

I like that Blender is a professional and free software. In the 3D world, it is a unique gem that allows for the creation of impressive images and videos. It feels very reliable and robust for various visual options, and it has helped me generate everything from images and videos to even three-dimensional elements for printing. I especially highlight its render engine, which is super fast and produces excellent quality. I also appreciate that it is compatible with different operating systems as well as the large number of applications available in the market that provide solutions to almost all problems that may arise, and again, it is important to emphasize that it is free. Additionally, the initial setup seemed really quick to me, and there is a lot of helpful content on the internet. Currently, I know that this platform is growing and that there are integrations with artificial intelligence to improve productivity and speed in projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

I find it hard to find any negative aspects in Blender, but it might be interesting to be able to manipulate primitive objects with preset options. Additionally, the handling of grouped objects or collections could be more optimal to make it easier for users to manipulate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Power-Packed, Easy-to-Use Free 3D Software with Great Community Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

It’s a power-packed yet simple piece of software. It’s very easy to use, with a great interface and plenty of tools to work with. It can integrate with websites like Meshy or Tripo, etc., and it has been a great performance booster thanks to multiple render engines. It’s also impressive that it’s free and open source; because it’s free, the community support is really strong compared to other 3D software. there is no AI support in blender but since its open source can integrate with other AI models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

There isn’t much to dislike overall, but I think the software would be even better with AI . there is no Intelligence for self corrections etc or suggestions. but AI intelligence option could have been better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful, Free, and Versatile 3D Tool with Endless Creative Possibilities"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

What I like most about Blender is how powerful and versatile it is while still being completely free. It lets me manage several parts of the creative process—modeling, texturing, animation, and even rendering—all in one place, without needing extra software.

I also really appreciate how consistently it improves. Updates often include meaningful changes that make workflows faster and more intuitive, which helps a lot as I continue learning and sharpening my skills.

Lastly, I like that Blender has such a large community. Whenever I run into an issue or want to try something new, there are plenty of tutorials, forums, and other resources available, making it much easier to keep moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blender?

One thing I dislike about Blender is its steep learning curve, especially for beginners. At first, the interface and controls can feel overwhelming, and it takes a while to get comfortable with the overall workflow.

I also find that some tools and features aren’t as intuitive as they could be, which can slow me down when I’m trying to work efficiently. On top of that, certain updates occasionally change workflows in ways that require readjustment, and that can interrupt productivity.

Finally, even though Blender is very powerful, it can sometimes run into performance issues depending on the complexity of the scene or the hardware being used. When that happens, heavier projects can be a bit challenging to handle smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Versatile, Feature-Packed Open-Source Powerhouse with Great Performance"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

The versatility, along with the sheer number of functions and features, really stands out. It’s a great example of open source done right. UI is slightly confusing at times but when you get used to it its quick and easy. Its integration to other software through plugins is good and the performance is really good even on low end systems. The software is free and is supported by people who love the software. There are endless YouTube videos and websites which teach blender although the official tutorials are pretty lackluster. What do you dislike about Blender?

Complexity and learning curve. The over cramming of features etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies 3D Modeling and Animation Effortlessly"
5/5
What do you like best about Blender?

I really enjoy working with Blender for its simple interface. The geometry nodes give a magical touch to turn any object realistic with material and color options. The UV wrap and modifications are simpler and more efficient than most 3D software available. I particularly love the render engine cycle. Its features allow unlimited options for creating art, animation, and gaming assets. Most of the time, when I am unable to visualize the design, Blender helps me make it real. The initial setup was very easy.

What do you dislike about Blender?

As of now as a beginner, I am happy with it but I guess there are issues I face which could be simplified, like UV wrap and geometry nodes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
