Jamie Moore was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. She has kept in touch and continues to share all the latest enhancements to the product that we can leverage as part of our existing investment. **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** We have been on the solution over a year and we have yet to find anything we dislike. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem we have is that we are a small company and we need to find partners who understand our risk profile but also our budget. Implementing a SOC internally is not feasible for most companies, so having Blackpoint Cyber's 24/7 managed SOC is a huge asset. ### 2. One of the critical pieces of our new security offering was a solid 24/7 managed detection and response solution. We did not have the capacity with our NOC and desk to add this service so we looked for a vendor to fill this need. After vetting multiple 24/7 MDR providers we chose Blackpoint Cyber and after two years of using their service, we are extremely pleased! We highly recommend them for your 24/7 MDR needs. **What do you like best about Blackpoint Cyber?** Their team! They are all based in the USA (necessary for many of our manufacturing, financial and other customers) and they are super friendly, super smart, easy to work with, quick to respond, and when the need arises, very helpful. We have worked with other 24/7 NOCs in the past and have found the staffs to be over whelmed, under qualified, not friendly, some times hard to understand. My small to mid-sized clients have been asking for an affordable solution for detecting and responding to security breeches. Now I have a solution that I trust to deliver the protection they need. We couldn't be happier with our partnership with Blackpoint. **What do you like best about Blackpoint Cyber?** The majority of the security tools that small to mid-sized businesses use to protect themselves are focused on either blocking an attack from occurring or recovering from an attack after the damage has been done. But precious few of those tools are any good at spotting and stopping a breech in real time. Blackpoint fills this gap by applying a combination of next generation software and top level security experts. **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** I love this product, but I do think that they could work on their reporting. It's one thing to do a good job at protecting a network, the next step is to be able to use your reports to tell a compelling story about the success of your product. Meaningful, engaging, and easy to read reporting helps justify your service for the non-techy business leaders who make the decisions about where to spend their technology budgets. **Recommendations to others considering Blackpoint Cyber:** There are a lot of solutions out there. Make sure that you understand what your goals are and keep that in mind when choosing a provider. **What problems is Blackpoint Cyber solving and how is that benefiting you?** Blackpoint fills a major gap in cyber security for small to mid-sized companies that just don't have the resources to have dedicate personnel scanning the network logs 24-7 searching for threats. ### 8. We use their services to supplement our own in-house Managed Security Services. **What do you like best about Blackpoint Cyber?** Very fast response times for any cyber security threats - typically we are alerted with a few minutes by a security analyst of any suspicious behaviour. The ability of the service to quickly sort through real threats vs all the usual daily IT activities is also impressive - we have yet to receive a false positive alert. **What do you dislike about Blackpoint Cyber?** Better integration with RMM tools like Autotask or Connectwise would be helpful.
