But having to keep navigating the changes as it updates, makes it difficult. Providing feedback to students on written assignments is still very clunky and counter-intuitive. What do you dislike about Blackboard? My experience is mostly with Blackboard Original, and this version of the LMS is simply outdated. An ancient user interface, lack of modern LMS features, and functions that simply break with very little explanation as to why from Blackboard (now Anthology) Support makes this LMS a very difficult one to recommend. I have some experience with Blackboard Ultra, which does feel more modern, but their "new" features coming to the roadmap are frankly things that Canvas has been able to do for years. Blackboard provided an LMS for our institution for 21 years, however in that time it has evolved very little, in the grand scope of things.
