Students have their assignments' statuses categorized for them, and it's easy for me to look back to prior years' information and data to compare or retrieve. While it takes some one on one time with new employees, they seem to catch on to the system fairly quickly too. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Learning Management System?** Sometimes the system is slow. I don't know if this is out of the control of your systems, like on 10/20/2025 when Amazon Services was down. Building the bulletin boards and topic sections could offer a few more options. **What problems is Blackbaud Learning Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm not sure it is solving any problems when it comes to education, other than easy of navigation for students to find lectures/presentations from class, and to submit assignments. Sometimes the connection with Turnitin is problematic though. ### 2. I also do like that I have not needed to reach out to customer support because I can find what I am looking for in the help section. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Learning Management System?** Some of the functions are not very intuitive to figure out or don't work like they are intended to. **What problems is Blackbaud Learning Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** In all honesty, I could not tell you how it benefiting me. ### 3. It's great for parents to be able to see their child's class information all in one place too. For teachers, it's easy to take attendance, send emails to families and students, post class news, assign work. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Learning Management System?** It is difficult to sell the LMS if you are already using Google apps for education. Teachers can assign work in Google Classroom or have them navigate to Google Drive links elsewhere instead of posting it as an assignment in Blackbaud that then ultimately link to Google Drive anyway. The grading plans are difficult to build to your customizations and most importantly for our school, it is difficult to use the Report Cards and Transcripts with how our grading plans are set up. We use both numerical grades and letter grades, checks, pluses, and minuses for different skills, not just typical subject matters. **What problems is Blackbaud Learning Management System solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mass email communications to families ### 4. Teacher complain about the integration with Google. We use the system every day in 100s of ways. Users are able to interact with the system in multiple helpful and simple ways. The critical functions for school management and learning are relatively strong. The onboarding and implementation processes were very thorough and helpful. **What do you dislike about Blackbaud Learning Management System?** The UI needs updating and improvement. Though onboarding was good, continuous support is a mixed experience. Some (less central) features are underdeveloped. For example, still im using old transcript builder.
