I have been in the Blackbaud family for over 23 years. I have watched the programs evolve and grow to meet the needs of consumers in the various industries that they serve. Are they perfect.... no. However, they are growing and evolving over time. They are working on getting their processing and systems better over time. As I said previously they are growing and evolving over time. That being said, sometimes you don't get things the exact way you want them on the first try. At first I was hesitant going to a web based version of our accounting system. But the accessibility has been a real bonus for going to web version. Data entry is cleaner in some regards and the ability to access reports and information from our phones in a pinch has been fantastic. I've been able to reach out to my manager to approve invoices on the go, or she has been able to run reports for development on the go. The data entry seems fairly seamless with all of the information available on one page as opposed to database view where things are in tabs. Reporting has been great since you can run several reports at once at a faster rate than previously. I am looking forward to the integration and implementation upcoming for the full on web version. I'm curious to see how they incorporate many users favorite features such as QUERIES. I LOVE the excel add-in for our larger data journal entries. That has been fantastic, I have formulated our spreadsheets to just be able to flow into those which makes for easy entry. The add in for excel allows you to validate and it pushes the journal entry over to the database. It also will show you any discrepancies before it will validate and push it over. Lack of queries when we build many of our reports based on them is a little concerning. I like the ease of data entry yet it also feels like there is some lag in the forms filling out. Database view you can type and tab and it goes, with NXT there is a lag for data entry as it tries to go down the list. Which is frustrating when doing journal entries or other forms that require tabbing through and quick entry. I dislike that we are not always notified when things are changed, even taking training courses and the trainers were unaware of changes. I realize that they are in process of converting to full web based this year so I will try to give them some grace as they work out the kinks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that FENXT exists and has moved into the modern age with a cloud based application. I have generally found customer service to be helpful whether that's the Knowledgebase, chats, or calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a non-financial person, it's really hard to use and I've struggled to find and keep financial staff. Most CPAs prefer to use a more common solution like QBO or Sage Intact. It seems almost too large and cumbersome for a small organization like myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
