I like the ease of being able to pull a variety of reports from the web version, with the ability for report building with a query in the database version. Invoices and support for journal entries can be easily attached in the web view for easy referencing during our year end audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT? The database version, like other accounting software, is not at all intuitive. The web view does not have full functionality (for example must cut checks through database view), so you cannot exclusively use the web view. The software also does not produce a report that can be directly imported into our AP provider AvidXchange, even though they are partners. During year-end audits, we're also not able to pull an audit trail from the system for invoice approvals, which has caused control deficiencies in the audit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Blackbaud allows our entire team to easily enter journal entries and invoices from anywhere, and with the ability to attach invoices and journal entry support directly into the system which allows for easy review. What do you dislike about Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT? Often VERY slow and support is virtually non-existent. They often make "upgrades" and the system changes with no notification. Our bank reconciliation stopped working and it took several weeks to get it fixed. We had to go to the top to get help and they are now working to fix several problems.
