What do you like best about Blackbaud eTapestry?

eTapestry is an amazing resource for fundraisers. The reporting system was comprehensive and allows users to create comprehensive reports on donor information from giving data to geographic location. The support staff at eTapestry were always available, via telephone or instant message on the site, when needed to answer any troubleshooting questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackbaud eTapestry?

The only problem I ran into was in doing mass updates to payment schedules. But, the support staff were ready and willing to help problem solve and also offered to do the update for a fee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Blackbaud eTapestry:

What problems is Blackbaud eTapestry solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I used eTapestry, I was an individual giving fundraiser. I was able to track donor habits, ensure I tracked solicitations to donors, thanked donors, and managed campaigns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackbaud eTapestry?

I used eTapestry for almost 8 years with my last job. I would say that eTapestry excels at their customer support. Most of the time I would submit issues via their chat box which was always welcome with a friendly response. They would hang in with me for the longest time when I had complex issues I wanted help with. Occasionally I would call, but the chat is the best. I would then get an email with the full chat conversation that I could then refer back to. I also like the DIY (Do It Yourself) forms. And of course, the support chat helped me alot in figuring out new forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackbaud eTapestry?

Recommendations to others considering Blackbaud eTapestry:

I think you need to assign someone who is the main person in charge and most of their job is dedicated to managing the database.

I am now working for another organization that does not use eTapestry. They already had a donor database that was well established. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackbaud eTapestry?

I like how you can easily add donors, generate reports, keep a log of their donation, begin campaigns to set up a goal. I also appreciate how user friendly the program is. It is very easy to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackbaud eTapestry?

Queries to make and generate reports a slightly complicated. A simplified version or more learning modules as to how to best maximize this program would be wonderful.

Additionally, when generating mailings, sometimes when someone is marked as deceased do not mail, etc. It sometimes still includes that person. Perhaps there should be a section where you can archive deceased patrons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blackbaud eTapestry solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keeping track of memberships and membership data, as well as donors for our non-profit institution. It is a very user friendly interface that allows even interns to easily pick it up. I liked eTapestry's ease of use. In particular it allowed me to run reports including those that are common between two groups or those that were different.
