Blackbaud consistently updates its Enrollment Management System and focuses on streamlining financial aid awards, assigning and generating contracts, and integration between Blackbaud Billing Management and Blackbaud Tuition Management. Blackbaud Enrollment Management System makes it incredibly easy to update and enter student information. We use the software on a day-to-day basis and have found it incredibly easy to implement into our admissions process. Blackbaud Enrollment Management System has been working on streamlining the admissions process by creating a way to batch assign financial aid and contracts. This has reduced the time it takes to apply financial aid and generate contracts for our students by more than half the time it previously took us in prior years. The process allows for users to easily upload report cards and apply for themselves. The checklist we can assign assists the users on how to create their applications. The backend can be difficult to use for contract building and assigning families to payment portions. I'm not a member of the admissions team but the IT department has had to serve as a help for admissions because the backend options to building contracts and assigning them can be difficult to grasp for non tech people. Parents/candidates can easily create their own accounts and apply to the school. We assign checklists which allow for the candidates to upload the materials on their own and remove a ton of the manual entries from the Admissions team. This eliminates human error as uploads of report cards avoids manual entry for thousands of candidates. We then can easily transition the candidate profile to a student profile and work in schedules. I like the ease of use of the Enrollment management system. For the most part, it is easy for families and our staff to use. Support is pretty helpful as well when our staff forgets how to do something (which happens often as they only do it once a week).
