Bizzdesign Horizzon provides the ability to customize the solution in multiple ways to meet our organization's specific use cases. Unlike many other solutions that paint you into a corner with hardline features, Bizzdesign Horizzon and Enterprise Studio allow us to script enhancements to out-of-the-box features that meet our needs. One area where Bizzdesign Horizzon could improve is around the consumable side of the solution. In particular, allowing greater visibility to Horizzon for the organization (as consumers). While it is a great feature to be able to embed views from Horizzon into other platforms such as SharePoint, it is far easier, in my opinion, to present views and dashboards from Horizon directly, but current consumer role licensing for Horizzon can and often is a limiting factor for organizations. Bizzdesign Horizzon has significantly simplified our enterprise architecture endeavors. Its intuitive interface and extensive documentation make it incredibly easy to use, reducing the learning curve. While the software's ease of use is remarkable, there is still a slight learning curve for newcomers. Additionally, the pricing model might not be suitable for smaller organizations. Bizzdesign is the only real product in this space that still has an on-premises version. Our company is really not too excited about our business processes being stored in the public cloud since we (rightly or wrongly) believe they are a competitve advantage. I really like to create both business and IT diagrams and create insightful dashboards. Bizzdesign gives us the opportunity evaluate the enterprise is. The insights that we deliver through this system are genuinely exciting and are the driving force for a lot of our discussions with the business to further optimize the organization. Modelling comes with Archimate standard & enable us to expand to other modelling framework such as BPMN & UML.

Lack of automated process, still need use of script to enhance repository content.

I love to model the processes in Bizzdesign. It's easy to create the process hierarhcy, that is top-down from L1 to L7 depending upon your organization taxonomy using various different models present in the tool. Also, a great tool for modelling BPMN processes. In addition to this, we do have the options to write the scripts and automate few of the tasks, which I personally feel the best option available in the market. Some symbols in BPMN modelling are missing. For e.g. text annotation is not there, though they have given another way to do it, but I personally don't like it. Similar, in boundary events as well, we have limited set of symbols. Also, we cannot defined our set of rules, which will perform semantic check automatically.
