I use Bizzabo regularly for event registrations and find it really easy to collate all delegates in one place. For events with 100+ people, exporting email addresses is simple without doing this one at a time. Exporting mass registrants is really easy, and I can edit which fields I need, making it easier to report on our own events. It's convenient to filter out ticket holders and export them with relevant data for event registration and data reporting. The initial setup was relatively easy, and the training was detailed. Our Bizzabo doesn't link with our version of Salesforce so we have to manually add the registrations to keep records of this. It's also a bit difficult to navigate, I feel like there are a lot of unnecessary pages and it takes ages to find something relevant (like finding the template for the outgoing emails to edit). I find Bizzabo very user-friendly and easy to use, which is important for me since I'm not a software engineer and work in marketing. It's great that the platform doesn't overwhelm users and helps streamline my job without needing to learn complicated new things for web tasks, which are only a small part of my bigger campaigns. I think sometimes because Bizzabo is easy to use, it means there isn't as much flexibility in creative elements on the website such as the header or the creative, custom boxes. It all has to be the button can't be above. It has to be below because there's no function to move it, and it's part of being easy to use, but, therefore, there's less creativity in it. I find Bizzabo to be really straightforward and easy to use. I like exporting the lists into sheets or Excel, which is quite beneficial for me. Setting up promo codes is very straightforward, with detailed and complex options for various codes, discounts, and group bookings. I can set up bookings ranging from one to fifty or even unlimited in relation to one promo code. As a delegate sales manager, this platform really helps me keep an eye on what my team is doing. I really like how intuitive the backend of Bizzabo is. There is no coding required, making it very easy to navigate and customize events. It allows for quick setup and easy use throughout the planning process. We can quickly and easily check on registrations, add sessions and speakers, and more. I find that they offer a lot of capabilities to enhance the event experience for attendees, but they are all very expensive add-ons, which makes it very challenging to deliver an experience that doesn't feel like another webinar. I like Bizzabo mainly for the automations and different automated workflows. These features help my team focus on other tasks, as they allow people to sign up for our event, receive an automated registration email, and get different content depending on their registration type. The custom app setup was a bit cumbersome. Part of it has to be done through their portal, and other through interacting with their team. What do you dislike about Bizzabo? There are such finicky little issues that you don't think about until you stumble on them. Having to have custom CSS code to adjust the way time zones are listed on the agenda, how terrible the community looks on the event website, but you have to have it enabled there for it to work in the app (unless you get support to create more custom CSS), the fact that you can't access or resend ticket boost codes....I could go on. I like most how easy it is to work and to create to be our own with Bizzabo. I like that it integrates with our own website, so we could still use our branding. I really enjoy how fast it is for those at Bizzabo to help me with the different tiles for the chat to talk with people. The chat feature is super valuable because I can use it at any time of the day, and there's somebody there to help me to ensure that I am editing everything correctly. What stands out most is the flexibility of the registration flows. Whether we are running a simple webinar or a complex, multi-track conference, the ability to customize ticket types and logic-based registration questions is a huge time-saver. Additionally, the integrated email marketing tools are incredibly robust; being able to segment my attendee lists and automate personalized reminders directly within the same platform ensures our communication is consistent without having to export data to a third-party email tool. Specifically, the lack of a native 'Apply to Attend' or approval-based registration workflow is a hurdle for our exclusive, invite-only events. Currently, we have to find manual workarounds or use external forms to vet attendees before they can register. It would also be great to see more native flexibility in the website builder's design layouts, as it can sometimes feel a bit rigid when we're trying to match a very specific brand aesthetic. The post event surveys also have so much to be desired, as the survey is very limited, the button uncustomizable, and we can only put it on the Bizzabo website, when we do not use that functionality.
