I love the variety of courses available from top training providers. I also like the ease of administration. The fact that many courses are micro-learning makes it even better. There are also varieties of training on the same subject but with different presenters. The variety makes it easier to tailor the training for a specific audience. I used their SCORM feature which allows me to use my own LMS and link directly to BizLibrary. There are so many different modules, I am able to meet all of our compliance needs for all the states we operate in with one platform. I don't have to cobble together training from different vendors. Consider your available technological resources so that all have the opportunity to participate in training. Be sure to survey your employees and management as to what training is top on their must-have list. Keep content fresh and relevant. Although we are a relatively small company, our training needs are quite diverse - from basic safety training to leadership and professional development. I can cover compliance trainings, management development, new supervisor tactics, business analytics, even lifestyle enhancement by being a Biz Library administrator. My company (especially the CEO) has fully embraced and we doubled our licenses in the first year because of this. Excellent material. User-friendly platform, including administration. While content is strong around alot of soft skills, they are in need of a great deal more skill-specific or role/industry-specific content. As a couple of examples, there is a real need for software training such as Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Python, SQL, R, and other big-data tools we use today (as do many other companies out there)... and much more needed for leadership competencies for those who aspire to move into a management role at some point.
