You can generate random passwords. The best part is it's free, and even the pro plan is just priced at $1 per month or $10 annually. For the organisation pack, I don't find much value in paying because it is already open source and you get access to all the basic features, including login to multiple devices, for free. Apart from that, you can also share passwords in the free account. So I don't think small organisations need to pay ever. **What do you dislike about Bitwarden?** There are some bugs, like whenever I enable that the vault should unlock with Touch ID on my Mac, sometimes it gets automatically disabled. Also, there is a problem with the phone app, as it doesn't automatically prompt me to enter the password in the password field of every website using the mobile app, whether it's an iPhone or Android. What I have to do is go into the app, unlock the vault, find the password, copy it, and then paste it onto the website. So there should be a faster way. I noticed only a few times when the password was automatically filled directly in the website/app, but it doesn't happen most of the time. I don't know what the issue is there. **What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?** Instead of using the same passwords everywhere, I'm generating random passwords with the help of Bitwarden any time I have to sign up for anything. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for password management and as an excellent replacement to LastPass. Some things liked: - Light weight - Able to generate strong passwords and passphrases for you. - MFA security and multiple MFA options - Free family accounts with business accounts - Onboarding new users is a reasonably simple process - Can utilize the desktop vault, the mobile app, and website for free accounts (with LastPass you have to pick one or the other and can only switch between so many times) **What do you dislike about Bitwarden?** Overall, little complaints, but there are some minor inconveniences that happen sometimes. Some dislikes: - Auto-fill doesn't always work consistently - Save credentials prompt doesn't always catch on when it should - Searching your vault doesn't always yield results even though you know it should. - Browser add-ins/extensions are sometimes sluggish - Bitwarden user accounts created before their corporate email account is created get added to a no-send list at Bitwarden because Bitwarden receives and NDR from the automatic welcome email it sends on user creation. Subsequent resends of invitation emails from the admin portal do not send because of that. Have to reach out to Bitwarden support to get the user email taken off their no-send list. **What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?** Centralizing the keeping and sharing of business sensitive passwords. Bitwarden makes the management of password security easier for end users and between departments like finance and sales where the use of a shared login for things like tax reporting, website marketing, customer campaigns needs to be communicated between multiple people. Helps with holding important notes of information in a central location and not needing to do password recovery on websites when a user leaves the company. ### 23. Most convenient is its compatibility with any device, and I can access my passwords with ease with any device I use. I save a lot of time with its autofill feature, logging me in to programs and websites in seconds, and I appreciate its password generator for generating strong, one-time passwords, and I appreciate secure options for sharing sensitive information. Bitwarden’s open-source platform inspires trust in its security and transparency in me, and overall, its robust security, ease of use, and price make Bitwarden an excellent password manager for me. **What do you dislike about Bitwarden?** While I appreciate Bitwarden's high security and open-source development, I have a few reservations about it. User interface sometimes feels a little clunky compared to other password manager software, and sometimes I have difficulty accessing whatever I'm looking for. Autofill, even when useful, sometimes malfunctions and is disabled, and I have to enter information in most of the time. In addition, 1GB of premium-user encrypted storage isn't enough for my requirements. I'd prefer Bitwarden to have an autofile-backup feature, in case backing my information up turns out to become an issue in the future. Finally, I have noticed that sometimes customer service feels a little constrictive, and when I'm in a rush, I can become frustrated with it. Overall, I still regard Bitwarden as a secure and reliable tool, but with a few reservations. **What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bitwarden is fixing a variety of important concerns for me, first and most obviously through its secure and efficient password management. With its zero-knowledge and end-to-end encryption, I have faith in knowing my sensitive information is safe and secure. Security is applicable for both private and commercial use, and Bitwarden helps me secure my accounts and guard them against unauthorized access. Bitwarden's cross-platform compatibility enables me to access my passwords anywhere, anytime, and I save a lot of time with it. With its password generator, I can generate strong, one-use passwords for each and every one of my accounts, minimizing my vulnerability to a breach. Bitwarden's secure shared feature proves useful for collaboration with my coworkers, and I can pass passwords and notes between them and me with ease and security. Since implementing Bitwarden I use it everytime I have to login to an account, Bitwarden is the first thing I login to every morning. One feature that is very convenient is having all of you login credentials just a click away, once Bitwarden has been unlocked you can easily find credentials and login to any website needed. I personally like the keyboard shortcut to autofill credentials. There's no more having to figure out your login or taking time to type it in, with Bitwarden you can be logged into anything you need in 10 seconds or less. If any issues with Bitwarden arises the customer support is very responsive and will get the issue either resolved or have a workaround. **What do you dislike about Bitwarden?** Being in a business environment with Bitwarden is very convenient but one thing I have noticed about Bitwarden is the autofill feature turning its self off. Most employees don't know the keyboard shortcut to autofill so once autofill turns off they have issues with finding credentials. I have noticed this to happen after Bitwarden having an update. **What problems is Bitwarden solving and how is that benefiting you?** We implemented Bitwarden to avoid users forgetting their passwords or writing their passwords down and leaving it out in the open on their desk which causes a big security threat. Now that we have a one-hundred percent adoption rate all users can store their credentials in Bitwarden and keep all of their accounts secure. Since Bitwarden we have had a significant drop in resetting user passwords, the only password a user has to remember is their Master Password. ### 25. Customer support is very good and quick. **What do you dislike about Bitwarden?** Improvements to desktop client: - Global hotkeys to auto-fill in different apps like Keepass does. - Have a more condensed view to show more items. - Searches don't seem to always work properly. - Search results should show what collection an item is found in.
