Worse than that, any previously generated free links, are now opted into paid advertising clickthroughs. This is completely unprofessional, and damages the reputation of existing users of bit.ly. As such I am moving my links to a different platform. Setting up a custom short URL was a breeze and the ability to redirect URLs gives great peace of mind for correcting any mistakes that may happen. We use bit.ly daily, sometimes hourly! Bit.ly is extremely easy to use. **What do you dislike about Bitly?** Too high a cost for extra features like extended data or custom QR codes. No ability to edit or delete tags onces they've been used. Bit.ly makes them easier to parse, especially when using the custom URL feature. Additionally, QR codes made from URLs with UTM parameters are dense and messy, making them hard to read at smaller sizes. We use bit.ly to shorten these URLs and make QR codes from the bit.ly URLs instead. Not only does this make the QR codes less dense, it also gives us the ability to change the URL the QR code points to if there has been a mistake. ### 14. Bitly is able to help maximize our resources better. With link shortening, we can create better social media posts that won't exceed the character limit or overall make it more presentable. We also like to the customization option for QR codes. We can change our logo, and the public has started to gain trust compared to a QR with no association. Link redirects have also been a great help. We redirect clients to a pdf and that pdf needs to be updated every other week. We have three redirects each month and that is just right. **What do you dislike about Bitly?** I am not sure, but would like to have webinars on how to use other areas such as Campaigns, AI, integration.
