I have used Bitly now for well over 10 years. There is literally zero effort to implement this platform, however a full API is there if you want into custom period applications. Their support team is also happily there to help if required and I use this nearly every day. Over the years, the platform has become a bit bloated. It is also very clear that with so many other link shorter now in the market while Bentley was one of the originals they’ve mildly lost their way however it still does a great job with Wood accomplishes it and is able to make social and engagement Tracking very easy. As a nonprofit with limited funds, I have to be careful with how to utilize those funds. Bitly is able to help maximize our resources better. With link shortening, we can create better social media posts that won't exceed the character limit or overall make it more presentable. We also like to the customization option for QR codes. We can change our logo, and the public has started to gain trust compared to a QR with no association. Link redirects have also been a great help. We redirect clients to a pdf and that pdf needs to be updated every other week. We have three redirects each month and that is just right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
