12 years ago I had the opportunity to know a Computer Engineer that was working in the Bitdefender team. At that time we both were young and courageous. I am a physicist engineer and I have worked for one of the best software companies in the world (UBI Soft Entertainment) and I can tell that my colleague (Compouter Engineer) was one of the best in his job. Bitdefender is a Romanian company that can compete with the best Antivirus Companies in the world (Total AV, AVG, Norton etc). What I like the best at Bitdefender (and especially at the Bitdefender comapny) is that they have people that are very good in their job and that their antivirus is probably the best in the world (although the Bitdefender antivirus is much more slower that their competitors from the US). Romanian products are good and very good, and I can say that Bitdefender is a very good Romanian product, better that Total AV and Norton. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Bitdefender is too slow when compared with the antiviruses from the US companies. To run an antivirus from morning to the end of the day is too much. Altough they are probably the best in the world, the Bitdefender team have much to learn from their US colleagues when it comes to running fast a computer program.
