The information you see on any page is clear and almost has all relevant details say if you take a commit, you can see other associated details like tags and other stuff clearly **What do you dislike about Bitbucket?** Sometimes, PR creation takes too much and won't load properly . Had to wait few minutes and try again to raise the PR again. Also, sometimes there is issue with reloading page, the changes made doesn't reflect in the PR and it is kinda of frustrating. **Recommendations to others considering Bitbucket:** Please make the refreshes on PR to load in realtime ALWAYS, sometimes it is like stuck and the additional commits do not show up. The api exposed by bitbucket makes it easier to integrate with all the tools in the pipeline. Integration with git makes it very easy to use. You can use with git ui or git bash for command based interface. You can create branches and it is light weight meaning you can clone only the version which is required. It also gives you option to modify source code online on the browser if you just want to make any small change on the fly. You can use hooks to create rules for code commits and enforce on the dev community **What do you dislike about Bitbucket?** Performance is an issue at times till you get a hang of the configuration on the server end and scale your infrastructure to support of you have large number of repos **What problems is Bitbucket solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a scm tool that we can use to create CI/CD Pipeline with large number of repositories and bitbucket was able to fill that gap. We also put some guardrails to implement best practices in teams by defining rules like you can commit only by using a work item# and Making peer code reviews mandatory for code merges across branches ### 35. Also, it has better integration with other Atlassian products (like Jira) if you are using Atlassian products. It is a handy tool that helps me every day to merge my code to source code. ### 40. This gets me a list of all the changes between the two files, so I can just post the changes. Then the system allows me to update the master file with the changes. I then repeat the process every week from March to October. We have 2300-2400 eContracts memberships for 0ver 66 different contract types with over 200 different school entities to keep track of. Bitbucket coding using GitHub saves 90% of the time involved (reduces several hours to several days time determining the changes to only 30 -120 minutes posting the changes only). A massive amount of time saved, as the system is not able to be automated. **What do you dislike about Bitbucket?** I do not have a problem with this software. **What problems is Bitbucket solving and how is that benefiting you?** Managing contract memberships and discounts for fee-based course offerings. ### 44.
