"CrossBrowserTesting is LEGIT!"
5/5
What do you like best about BitBar?

My favorite part about CBT is the amount of available testing resources. I am able to complete my tests across a large array of browsers and devices. This to me, as a developer and designer, is key to helping my projects become successful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BitBar?

I have found nothing I dislike about CBT at this point. A+ all around! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tests fail due to CBT networking"
1/5
What do you like best about BitBar?

The access to so many combination of browser and operating system is on par with other services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BitBar?

We run our system tests on every pull request. Many tests fail due to a timeout when Selenium is waiting for a response for a command it sent. (ex: A step in the test is to click on a button, we can trace the command being sent, but a response never comes back)

We've repeatedly brought this problem up, and have seen the same issue across multiple environments and ISPs, it is definitely not on our end. After months we're still no closer to resolving this. On some days we can't merge at all because there is a timeout in nearly every single test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best browser testing I have used."
5/5
What do you like best about BitBar?

I love the screenshots that I can run on a site. This process will take screenshots of the site and compare the screenshots between each other - and the coolest part about this feature is that it will actually LIST OUT the differences between the screenshots and how the website (or app) is rendering. This makes it extremely easy to spot layout issues in certain browsers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BitBar?

I have been using CrossBrowserTesting for over 4 years. When I have run into bugs/problems, CrossBrowserTesting has been really fast responding and getting them fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable tool for testing across devices"
5/5
What do you like best about BitBar?

The tool allows me to test a large variety of operating systems, browsers, resolutions and devices for both Desktop and Mobile. It saves us needing to maintain test machines and virtual machines and eliminates that overhead. With one subscription, we validate for Windows and Mac for different browsers and several mobile devices. It also allows us to troubleshoot user issues when we can replicate their actual device user experience. It also allows us to test through a local network connection for our development environment that's secured behind our firewall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BitBar?

I haven't experienced a lot of downsides to this option. It was far superior than our other solution (in-house test machines). The one thing I have run into is the speed of linking between pages. But I think that's just a case of the remote connection. Something to be aware of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very good tool for Browser testing but Mobile is slow"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BitBar?

It is a easy application to get up to speed and running various browsers on plus flexible in how to use various browsers for manual testing as well as automated testing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BitBar?

The mobile browsers fail a lot so it makes it hard to rely on for mobile testing. And the rendering can be misrepresented a lot as well. Still a lot less than paying for Xamarin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
