Having worked with BIS trainer software for over a decade I continue to be impressed with the amount of high-quality customer service and support they provide. This has allowed us to expand our service offerings to our clients in a variety of forms and functions. Training is continually updated on their website that addresses the needs of both our internal and external clients. This is extremely important in my role overseeing Corporate Training at Medicine Hat College. The tech support is amazing and the BIS team addresses all of the unique issues that we continue to bring their way. I will continue to recommend their products and software solutions, and if you are in business in the area of human resources, training & development, operations, occupational health & safety, logistics, or management, you should seriously take a look and learn how their solutions will benefit you and your organization. Ultimately we would like to develop more training options through the platform, however, those issues fall more on our end and waiting for our clients and have nothing directly to do with BIS. What problems is BIStrainer solving and how is that benefiting you? BIStrainer addresses our internal health and safety training needs, along with the needs of both our internal and external clients. Customization is key for us in the area of expanding training & development options and flexibility to different client needs. The Safety Training Matrix is also a great tool for our Health & Safety Manager in tracking and managing required certifications. The problem that BISTrainer has solved for me is providing Learning and development leaders like myself a modern tool to be able to provide our workforce the education they deserve in a modernized approach. Too many times the limitations of “we have a corporate LMS” restrict content creators to be agile, and efficient and getting the workforce the “ONGOING” resources they need. We have worked with BISTrainer to create a parent/child relationship with our client's corporate LMS so both initiatives can be accomplished. We love it as well as our students…. We had unique needs and wants that BIS Trainer customized for us. We are not in the safety industry and BIS was willing to take on the challenge. The staff is experienced and professional. Now all our training is online and using the LMS to share material with learners and instructors. Learners can help themselves by finding out what courses they completed and which ones they still need to complete. BIS is a reference tool for our learners.
