The timekeeping feature is great for tracking effort on projects. The staff were also great, helping us set up some custom features for our project budgeting purposes **What do you dislike about Birdview?** Have not used the Gantt, board, or calendar view, the way our projects are organized it doesn't seem to work well. We did just begin using the program a few months ago. Probably user error, and need to put some effort into setting it up correctly. We use EP everyday for our IT operations and project management. **What do you dislike about Birdview?** The only thing I feel is missing is the ability to have enhanced dashboards- EP has been working on this and there is some ability to create dashboards, but they are based off reports. I was previously a JIRA user and LOVED it. EP has been an excellent substitution at a fraction of the cost of JIRA. It may be because I didn't know them, but it would be great if there were bundled software training to develop project report templates, project templates, or anything that made it more reproducible to create a new project. I wish I could click on a button to see all tasks allocated to a specific individual, including the remaining hours, possible new project time and a workforce loading chart, essentially. Maybe there's a way I don't think about it. **Recommendations to others considering Birdview:** Before you try to track tasks and time, make sure you know models and workflows in simple projects. It's best to "build your toolkit" inside basic tasks before you begin to use it for organizational / monitoring purposes. **What problems is Birdview solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's much less difficult and structured to keep time. I like to add specific projects and project activities to my team. The code is fantastic. We are able to run time / note reports for past projects, making time monitoring much less complicated by administrative work.
