"Best tool for preparing figures for academic scientific models"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

I like the availability of all the different small models for preparing figures for scientific articles. Also, it is easy to access the old projects and export images of all possible sizes for different purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

There is as such nothing which I do not like in BioRender. One important point that I noticed is that at a time only one user can use the program. There should be some option for multiple users at the same time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product, still needs bigger icon library"
4/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

It is very user friendly, the images are great quality, and it is easy to build complex figures Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

Most of the icons are not customizable, which is frustrating when you need to change a color, etc

The flow charts/templates can use an update Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Diagram maker for biotech presentations and papers"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

What I liked the most from BioRender was the huge access to specific biotech illustrations to be used on diagrams. Its super useful if you're trying to convey sciency/medical topics in a diagram but you cannot manage to find icons or images for that topic Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

It's a shame that a lot of illustrations are not as customizable as they should be. Also it would be nice that illustrations can be detached from their parts and be customized more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best software for making scientific figures and graphics"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

The software is user-friendly, I've shown it to labmates from undergrads to postdocs to PIs who are blown away with it. There is an unlimited number of ways I can use biorender to illustrate my science and I use it for all of my presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

All the big issues I've had with Biorender (such as no spell-correct in software) have been addressed by the company. I think the only thing I wish I had was biorender offline so I can continue to make figures without wifi. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Text-book quality images for your thesis, publications and presentations."
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

I love that I can use existing icons to build images, and create my own figures using individual elements. I can create crisp figures that are text-book quality to explain my work in a coherent, professional, visually stimulating and gratifying way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

Perhaps learning to navigate the program at the beginning. But I found the little tutorials very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good software for science diagrams"
4/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

Biorender is pretty much helpful if you want to make diagrams or infographics related to science topics. It's pretty much useful to elevate the level of presentations you do relate to science Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

I don't particularly appreciate how sometimes the software behaves, it becomes a bit buggy and also, for some medical-related fields there is not enough imagery available to use in the diagrams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stepped Up Figures"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

Huge library of usable images, many of which are editable. Saves an incredible amount of time making good quality figures over PowerPoint, paint, or other tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

Some tools are not immediately intuitive and/or require some coaxing to do exactly what you want. However, there are tools for almost everything and now being added all the time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Plenty of images, great for making figures for scientific papers and posters, but expensive"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

Biorender provides an extensive range of pictures and icons across different domains of the biological sciences. In addition, it is simple to use with its search and drag-and-drop feature to create figures for scientific papers and posters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

To be able to be used for diagrams in scientific publications, there is quite a high monthly subscription cost. This can be quite difficult for individual research groups if they are low on funding or the university does not help to cover the expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
