"Extremely user friendly!"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

The most helpful part about using BioRender is how user friendly it is. You do not need a prolific background in making figures to be able to use BioRender. It is pretty self-explanatory but yet is very comprehensive with its capabilities. I have drafted numerous figures that served as data-visualization points in my manuscripts and graphical abstracts using BioRender. These have been well recieved by high-impact journals. I highly recommend BioRender for those who want high-quality figures! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

The lack of a BioRender software that one can download & install on a computer may be the only downside. It's certainly not difficult to navigate the BioRender website though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It was my research easy!!!"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

I would definitely recommend Biorender to anyone! I started using Biorender in my first year of graduate school and I like the fact that high quality images can be presented in a clear manner, especially when one needs to use such diagrams created by Biorender for publications. I also like the fact that templates for poster presentation are readily available in Biorender, which make the art of creating posters for conferences easy for implementation. Consequently, I use it so frequently!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

I would like to have Biornder as a software on my computer, rather than having to go to my browser everytime I want to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Biorender is a great tool for proposal writing!!"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

Biorender is an extremely user-friendly website that enables the formation of biologically relevant figures for publications, presentations, and grant proposals. I use Biorender at least once a week for one of the aforementioned applications. Although I haven't had to contact customer support, they provide user support through their webinars. These webinars have really helped me streamline my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

It can be expensive to get more than one user on your account, which can be a roadblock in academia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for Research!"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

BioRender is an amazing product for anyone interested in creating figures, tables, posters, or presentations! As a medical student, I've used BioRender to draft over 15 conference posters, complete with over 25 unique figures. My favorite part about BioRender is the versatility of the software that allows me to utilize it for so many different purposes, whether it's creating an image from scratch, modifying the existing templates from the gallery, or composing a larger illustration from my previous works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

BioRender as it currently stands is slightly more focused on lab research and biomedical science which is less applicable to me as someone who focuses more on clinical research. However, the gallery of available templates, flowcharts, images, and graphics to use continue to grow which makes this issue less of a concern with every passing day! What do you like best about BioRender?

BioRender offers a wide variety of icons and images to create professional quality illustrations. If an icon is not already available, it can be requested and added. They also offer pre-made templates which are very useful. The versatility of the software is remarkable and new images, icons, templates, and features are contantly being added to improve user experience. A picture is worth a thousand words, so anytime I need to explain something, I always turn to making a figure in BioRender because it is a fun and simple way to get your point across effectively. "Biorender is perfect for anything in academia including manuscripts and lectures"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

Biorender is very easy to use for someone who has zero graphic design experience. It has most of the graphics one would need in medicine or science and they are customizable. Complex images can be broken down and certain elements added or removed. In addition, Biorender provides exceptional customer support and occassionally has free webinars to demonstrate how to successfully use their product in academia. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

BioRender doesn't have every single image you can imagine but I believe customer service would be open to considering other design ideas if you let them know. This is not a dislike but just a comment that BioRender is not AI and doesn't generate the entire figure for you. You still have to have a clear idea of what you are trying to generate (create a sketch ahead of time) and you need some creativity in design aesthetics to get a figure to look great. Luckily if you contact the company they may be able to help you or provide free webinars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great program for visualizing biological information"
5/5
What do you like best about BioRender?

The ease of ability to make changes to figures and templates, including color, shape, and position. This allows for very niche concepts and structures to be displayed and allows anyone to more easily understand. The learning curve is small and can be used for almost every project, article, or presentation. I use it constantly for many applications. The Biorender team is very responsive and proactive as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BioRender?

The statistical graphs and analysis could be expanded, but from my understand the biorender team is currently working on this issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
