The search engine is accurate in giving the desired results and overall a decent database for the objects that we're looking for. The subcategories are not very well defined and many blocks are unavailable for Revit but are for SketchUp and 3ds. There is everything that you might need in a project related to families. There are so many sections on the website that will help you find what you are looking for. The only thing to dislike about BIMObject is using the search button if I type name of the component that I am looking for, I mighht not always end up looking at the right thing. BIMObject gives the freedom to find object by the manufacturer, so If I know what product of whihc mnaufacturer I am going to use in my project I can easily do that, also I can reach out to manufacturer if I have any concerns. BIMboject is a great and very big cloud site where you can download the server families and there documents. BIMOject provides the revit 3D families of several manufacturers under a roof. There are lots of 3D equipments and fixtures are avilable which can help you in building the things. From very small to large things are avilable here and you can download them in free of cost. For my multistories building project, i download the AHU and many other types of equipment and revit 3D families of different manufactures from this site. We can download families that can be used in revit or other software for modeling purpose. We can get the exact Bim family from this site in free of cost with proper dimensions and size. We can get the family from famous company like zurn etc .so my suggestion is Bim object can include many type of family from different different companies also . We have downloaded many families that is used in our model like we have downloaded zurn RDO ,RD, Hoss bib etc by it's model number only. We can just put the model number of the fixture or equipment and we can get the exact faimiles by this site . The manufacturers upload 3d models with perfect details, the search library is very complete and has a wide family of products of different types and brands, so far I have obtained the products I needed and I have downloaded them without any difficulty, the variety of formats allows you to download them for different software and that is very useful and efficient in the design office. The interface of the platform is a bit basic and does not have a more professional preview that allows you to rotate or move and even modify the objects you want to download and opt, communicating with manufacturers should be easier to interact and review the products and that the suggestions arrive quickly. One of the things that I like the most about BIMObject is the level of trust that is there. I know that if I grab an object from BIMObject I can trust that there is nothing wrong with what I have pulled down from there and it won't corrupt my project.
