Billhighway helps these associations bring all of their data together to keep their properly structure finance flow and keep organizations working. What types of organizations can Billhighway help? Billhighway is focused towards three types of organizations that are marketed to with slightly different modules; associations, labor unions and fraternities. What are Billhighway's features Billhighway has three main features in their platform. Harnessing user data, growing your association's membe-base and turning manual fundraising and data collection into an automatic work flow. These features all associations and organizations to learn about trends and patterns among their entire association member-base on a national level by sharing user data across different branches, identify the best times to ask potential new members to sign up for their association, use best practices to retain current members and transfer fundraiser and other funds across chapters automatically. Billhighway Summary Overall, Billhighway provides a solution for associations to keep all of their chapters updated on what is happening through all of the associations and at a national level. This transparency allows different branches to adopt strategies that are adopted and successful at sibling branches. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 9/12/2023 "I hate everything about Billhighway" 0/5 What do you like best about Billhighway? I don't like anything about Billhighway, I am forced to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Billhighway? You can only view member statements and current balances by clicking on specific periods so you can't see how much a member might still owe from all periods they have been in without seeing like every member ever put into billhighway or clicking on a specific member. This makes trying to see how many members still owe money and the total amount they owe an extremely annoying and time consuming task. The Billhighway anywhere device is useless. I have never gotten it to work despite follwing instruction manuals that are also useless. The deivce has a tap function icon on the top but nowhere in the instructions or the website does it say it accepts tap payments like apple pay. The instructions say that you can swipe a card or pay by check. But you can already accept credit card payment and checks with just the app so what's the benefit of the device? A slightly faster way to accept credit cards, that doesn't justify the price, which is significantly more expensive than a square reader that can take tap payment. If you accidently write the wrong amount or try to submit a check in a incorrect category in the billhighway anywhere app you can't try to submit that check again instead you have to mail the check in. The webiste regualry experiences delays and bugs which can result in trying to submit a load card request and getting it approved into sitting at your laptop watching the screen load for like 20 minutes. Multiple members of my sorority suddenly stopped getting statement emails and some members accounts have been randomly deleated and because of the billhighway policies neither me or my advisor are able to help the situation. We are also not able to see who the emails go to so if someone's statements were going to wrong email we would never know. As an admin in billhighway I can't see what the page looks like from a member perspective so sometimes when people ask me questions I give them wrong or irrelevant instructions and I have no idea what they are seeing when they look at their account. Sometimes I'll accidently instruct someone to click a button that doesn't exist for them and there's no way to figure out if they just can't find it or if their account just doesn't have that function without asking to see someone else's account. Almost every member of my sorority finds billhighway difficult to use and I am constitently getting asked to do walk through with members and there is no tutorial readily available for members on the website. The processing fees are also enourmous and take up the highest percentage of my chapter's budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Billhighway? there were glitches for awhile when we first got set up. If you can trudge through the inconvenience for awhile it wound up working out quite well for us. They have good customer support. One time my Chief Financial Officer incorrectly billed me for missing an event, but we were able to remove this charge from my account. Recommendations to others considering Billhighway: With a sorority, there are alot of members who have to pay dues and fees for various events and tee-shirts and Billhighway simplifies this process. You can either choose an automated payment plan or choose to pay each bill individually as they come out. After you pay your online bill they send you a payment confirmation via email. To pay the bill, they send you an email with a link and all you have to do is click on it, then enter your account number and email address to pay your bill easily online. I do feel Billhighway is a secure way to pay and the site is somewhat user-friendly. Anytime I call with a payment issue, the representatives are always friendly and helpful. I believe the organization I'm a member of has ease of use in the backend of the system, as they have used this software for years. Though there are easier payment systems with the user in mind. I feel like I'm always digging for my account number or some other info, to just pay my bill!
