We would love a better way to have employees be able to submit check requests into the system for approval. We're currently using a basic in-house system for this, but it'd be amazing if BILL AP/AR included this as a feature. Sometimes my invoices have different account codes depending on which invoice I'm inputting and Bill will default to the last invoice entered and populate with those account codes. Not sure if there's a smart way to tell based on account number on the invoice but would be great if those account codes could carry over to the right invoice. When it picks the wrong vendor, it's kinda problematic because we've let one transaction go through. It doesn't happen frequently, but often enough that we have to pay close attention. So the AI feature, while helpful, still needs some scrutiny. We occasionally have concerns about the automatic network connection with other vendors. For example, there was a time when we unintentionally connected with a vendor who shared the exact same name as another, and we failed to notice the mistake before a payment was processed. I like that it is a free account for our vendors, allowing them to set up their banking information on their side and receive payment quickly via ACH deposit. They don't ever have to share their banking details directly with us. I also appreciate how they're able to email a custom email address to submit their bills to get paid timely. Additionally, the sync and integration with QuickBooks is seamless, with no issues. I've found the setup very easy, and linking our bank account information was simple. It's a solid system I've worked with for years, first as a nonprofit auditor and now in private work, and it has never let me down.
