"Efficient AP Management with Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

What I love most about BILL AP/AR is the ease of making payments. I love that I don't have to constantly update the bank connection; once you add it, it just stays steady, which is really nice. The invite feature is great because it allows vendors to onboard themselves quickly and easily. The forwarding feature is another thing I like, as I can just forward invoices sent by consultants directly to BILL AP/AR. The AI component is incredibly helpful since it inputs a lot of the invoice information automatically, which means I only need to do a quick review, making my job much easier now that I'm handling more finance tasks on my own. This automation aspect really helps eliminate the need for entry-level data entry work. Additionally, the integration with QuickBooks is super smooth, saving me a lot of time. It's also convenient for making last-minute payments, and the USPS tracking feature gives me peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I feel like certain parts of the user interface could be streamlined and a little easier to navigate. I think the main dashboard for BILL AP/AR is not as intuitive as I think it could be. I think it works well if you're a Wallverse accountant. But if you were new or perhaps a business owner, I think it might be a little cumbersome. Especially with the approvals, I have a hard time onboarding executives, staff to approve things. They think the navigation is a little counterintuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Payment Solution with Some Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like that BILL AP/AR offers streamlined processing and reduces administrative effort, making the workflow simple overall. It's easy to make payments with just a couple of clicks, and the payments go through every time with all the information saved inside. I find it reliable for paying consultants and vendors across the US and India. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I wish the payments are made in a faster way within a day because sometimes we see people complaining that it takes too much time, especially when you place the payment on Thursday. They receive it on Monday or Tuesday, which is painful. The main issue is that it doesn't make payments to Pakistan because we have a couple of employees there, so we need to go to the bank to make the payment or look at a different website such as wise.com. "Intuitive and Efficient Tool for Accounts Payable"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like that BILL AP/AR is intuitive and only requires a couple of steps, which makes it easy to use. It provides easier oversight and compliance, allowing me to set specific rules around who has what abilities and who needs to sign off on invoices. I also appreciate the feature that enables a final signature for any payments that go out. As the CEO, it really saves me time because my team can set up invoices for payment, and I can do a final review and hit approve. It allows us to track all the fields and integrates with QuickBooks, making life even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

Ultimately, the pricing is a little bit high. It's seems like the features we use are not overly complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Vendor Management with Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like that the interface of BILL AP/AR is clean and well organized, making it easy to see the history of transactions. I also appreciate the ability to automate payments and link to QuickBooks, which helps in managing finances more efficiently. The interface allows us to assign categories to various transactions, which is useful for profit and loss statements and tracking purposes, enabling us to track cash flow and make projections. I also appreciate the fact that it allows us to store vendor documents like W9s and retrieve them easily. The AI feature is also pretty good at extracting relevant vendor information. What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I'm not thrilled about how dragging and dropping attachments and documents often freezes or lags. It's a hassle having to save attachments to my hard drive first, especially since the drag and drop just hangs a lot. Also, I would appreciate better harmonization of categories between QuickBooks and BILL AP/AR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless AP/AR with Custom Workflows"
4/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like the ease of access to vendor data and history in BILL AP/AR. The ability to customize the approval workflow is a major plus; it's smart how bills get automatically routed based on cost objects, saving me follow-ups since approvers just need to log in and approve. I also find BILL AP/AR more user-friendly and modern compared to our previous software, SAP Concur, which gives end users a more positive experience. The initial setup and migration to BILL AP/AR were relatively seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I find customer service problematic. We used to have an account manager who understood the product and our specific use, but now we go to a pool of customer service representatives who seem to not know the product as well as the product users do, nor do they understand how some users have customized their instance to meet specific needs. "Efficient and Collaborative with Minor Reconciliation Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like that BILL AP/AR allows for collaborative work with other administrative staff by letting them enter receipts and code those charges to the correct accounts. This feature just makes the entire process very efficient. The integration with our QuickBooks accounting system is also seamless, and the initial setup was pretty smooth thanks to the attentive representatives who ensured everything was set up correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I would say that the reconciliation portion of the expense side of BILL AP/AR has been a bit difficult. Differentiating between the virtual card charges and how that shows up on the reconciliation statement is a bit confusing. I have spoken with the team at BILL AP/AR who have always been very helpful whenever I've needed to call, very responsive. However, they are aware that this system is not as good as, hopefully, it can be one day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Workflow, Needs Email Functionality"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like the approval workflow in BILL AP/AR. The ability to select multiple people to approve a bill at once is really convenient, and I appreciate not having to chase them down since BILL AP/AR sends email notifications automatically for approvals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I don't like that BILL AP/AR does not allow me to email vendors a copy of their bill and the documents attached. This process is implemented in the AR side, as I can send invoices by email with attachments, but not the same thing with the bills. We create a proprietary report and need to send it to vendors, and without this information, they don't know what we are paying them for. There should be an option to allow me to email my vendor their bill and attachments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined AP Management with Exceptional Support"
5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I enjoy the ease of use of BILL AP/AR, which makes AP management less of a pain. I like that BILL continues to release new features to increase efficiency within the software. BILL AP/AR has a great support team, and it's very easy to connect with an agent to solve any problems I may encounter. I also appreciate that BILL syncs with our accounting system, making AP management truly streamlined. It saves a lot of admin time by having all bills automatically uploaded to the AP inbox from one central email, and the AI functions help with the coding of expenses. It's easy to collect vendor information and payment information through BILL, which is especially helpful for preventing any payments from being sent to the wrong account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

Sometimes there's a rounding issue that doesn't allow me to save the bill. Also, when vendors ship more than what the original PO was entered for, I have to manually update the PO in our accounting software, sync to Bill, and then enter the bill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Efficient, But Reporting Needs Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I really appreciate that BILL AP/AR is quick and easy for transmitting our bank info to customers. The interface is overall very good, allowing easy navigation of the portal to find payments or customer payables, and it's easy to add vendors. This is especially valuable in our tech startup where multiple departments access the system. Its simple and clean layout ensures that even non-finance professionals can get what they need. The initial setup was very easy, and using it with QuickBooks Online overall worked well. I find that using BILL for some customer receivables works very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

I have a handful of things that don't work well for me: 1) the reporting is inflexible. When there are more than 100 results, an export of the data will still only show 100 lines unless you click 'more.' sometimes I was exporting 1900+ lines and had to click through 19 times, which was time consuming and annoying. 2) I also disliked how we were unable to own the bank information WE entered. We collected bank information from thousands of vendors but after initial entry, could not see the full bank string. We'd have vendors ask where payments went to, and BILL made it near impossible to get that information in full. I was tired of going through support to do this 3) I dislike the lack of customization of vendor / customer communications. BILL sent confusing emails to customers. "Streamlined AP/AR with Minor Currency Hurdles"
4/5
What do you like best about BILL AP/AR?

I like how BILL AP/AR makes invoice and payment history easy to sort through. This feature really helps when there's a payment mishap or when a vendor needs clarification or an update on payment status, it's pretty quick and straightforward to give them an update. Also, the setup was pretty easy with no major issues. It's a good platform that pairs well with other tools like Dext and QuickBooks in my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BILL AP/AR?

When paying in foreign currency, BILL AP/AR uses a proprietary conversion rate that doesn't match the regular market rate. This often leads to underpayment of the bill and requires an additional payment to be issued. I have to manually calculate what actually needs to be sent to not be affected by the non-market conversion rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
