## Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) Reviews
  ### 1. Brainshark Helped Our Sales Team Scale

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary B. | Sales Enablement and Strategy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Aside from Brainshark being an on-demand training and coaching platform, I like the Guest Recording functionality best. It gives us, as content creators, the ability to bring in many different experts and voices to further engage our learners. Guest recorders can also leave the platform and return if they get sidetracked or need a break. This approach makes it easy for content updates and changes too!

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There are some navigation and UI challenges from an Admin perspective - lots of clicks to navigate to basic screens, filter quirks, global settings are hard to update...Also, reporting and/or scorecards do not always provide the necessary details.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our onboarding is on-demand which helps us maintain a flexible hiring schedule, helps managers coach and mentor new employees when convenient with their schedules, and helps enablement track the success and adoption of training initiatives.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

it is helping us to reduce ramp up time and time to competency

  ### 3. Brainshark Helps You Become Better. . . At Anything.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I like that you are able to create tests and quizzes by using a very simple format.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I don't know anything that I would say that I don't like.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

You should use Brainshark if you need to improve the skills that multiple departments can use.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have become better as a sales department. The practices that you sharpen and the skills that you learn from the platform is outstanding.

  ### 4. Perfect for helping test the knowledge of the workers in the company, a great program!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katelyn R. | Senior Associate III, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

It is incredibily useful as a tool for testing the knowledge of those in your team. Making it easier to focus on problem areas with different individuals on the team.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There is not much to say against Brainshark, Im sure that there are bugs here and there but overall its beena great program. I would like to see more features but that can be said with any program.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark is something everyone should be using to test the knowledge of theirs employees, I see no downsides to the way it is set up. It can help increase the knowledge of the employees under you.

  ### 5. Switched from Brainshark to Highspot for learning management

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The only feature that tempted us to stay after 2 years of working with Brainshark was the AI-based machine learning component of coaching, which is a differentiator in the market, but did not outweigh other features that are better in Highspot Training & Coaching.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

-While Brainshark offers many robust features, the platform feels kludgey and outdated. Even after getting certified as an administrator, there were still elements of the user experience that I found confusing - to say nothing of our end users, who liked it even less.
-We were already using Highspot for content management and sales guidance, and their new Training & Coaching platform offers similar functionality, an integrated user experience, and a cleaner, more modern UI. I
-Building training content in Brainshark is locked into an old-fashioned slide-based format that feels very dated.
-The analytics are extremely confusing - even answering simple questions such as, how long are sellers engaging with this training before they lose interest, or which managers still have to grade coaching activities, would take an inordinate amount of time to find.
-Our account team was a nice group of people, but woefully underprepared to serve clients post-Bigtincan acquisition. They often could not answer questions we asked, and did not offer much in the way of strategic value or insight. They also made the process of leaving extremely painful, to the point of unprofessional.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allowed us to produce self-guided seller learning at scale, but ultimately was replaced by Highspot due to features that were stronger or at parity in the Highspot Training & Coaching platform.

  ### 6. Best experience for content creators, user friendly and many useful features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andra R. | Quality manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

It came up as we transitioned from ILT to e-learns (virtual solutions) and I liked how easy it was to convert materials and use features that correspond very close to an ILT delivery (voice over, voice generating, videos, powerpoints, scripts etc.)

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I couldn't find anything to dislike, I am still discovering many features and I am very happy to use Brainshark.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time. I used to work with other solutions that needed more workarounds and time invested, and Brainshark just has the features built it.

  ### 7. An excellent experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike B. | Associate Manager, Loyalty Marketing & Operations , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The team I worked with (Michael & Marc) were both very patient and knowledgeable when training on the platform. In addition to this both were extremely professional.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Nothing. I literally do not have a single negative things to say about working with Michael and Marc nor do I have anything negative to say about the platform. 5 stars.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It serves as our brand's LMS. It not only houses our trainings and modules but provides detailed reporting so that we can act upon the users who do not complete the required trainings.

  ### 8. Sophisticated, User-Friendly Content Creation Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Brainshark provides its users with an intuitive and highly functional platform to easily create polished and interactive digital content. The end users have a sophisticated and easy-to-navigate viewing experience to digest and absorb their content.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The only two features I dislike about Brainshark are 1) it is very time-consuming and challenging to add closed captions to a presentation, and 2) I wish we had the ability to change content on an actual slide, rather than having to re-upload that slide.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team creates engaging benefits presentations to empower employees to better understand and consume their healthcare benefits. Brainshark generates a simple link for employees to access whenever and wherever they are. The content is broken down into segments with a slick Table of Contents so employees can easily identify what they want to learn about next.

  ### 9. For me Brainshark is a new tool but it`s so nice to have it available for trainings.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana S. | Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I like the idea of making creative content and sharing it with our colleagues. I think it's an innovative way of sharing information and maintaining people`s focus on the news.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Even though I enjoy it, it can be tricky to use it sometimes. It takes quite a lot of time to create a video of only a few minutes.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can`t think of something at the moment.

  ### 10. Product could be amazing, but lacks basic functionality for an LMS.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Love the ability to crowdsource content easily from people other than the learning team.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

If you just want to use this for presentations, that's fine. Beware--once you try to use the learning functionality, it is extremely limited. For example, you can't customize emails for course enrollments. This is problematic if you need to have users do something specific upon enrollment. You are limited by the time zone your course sessions are in. Everything is in EST, and Brainshark support wouldn't do anything to fix that glitch. For a fortune 100 company, these functionalities are the bare minimum--not "Product Features" as Brainshark calls them.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark allows us to quickly spin up new content and share it with our salesforce.

  ### 11. Friendly and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

It is so easy to use. You can create engaging content in no time. You have the opportunity to engage and track your audience and the effectiveness of your content quickly. Being able to update the content so easy is impressive.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Audio quality is something I would keep working on. It's a good feature - to be able to generate voiceover for PowerPoint presentations, however they sound a little robotic.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time: one of the most critical problems solved by Brainshark. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly. So you can learn to create content fast. Then, transforming it into engaging learning content is one step further.

  ### 12. Brainshark success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa P. | Field Sales Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The ease of use on all sides and willingness team was to help with any questions or issues.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Honestly, I have not come across anything I didn't like.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With getting new hires enrolled in the system, I came across some questions I had with the process. I reached out and within minutes had answers and the opportunity for a zoom call to make sure I was comfortable with the information.

The people are great! Everyone at Brainshark is great to work with. All of the technology is great for adult learning. T

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Our users encounter a lot of little issues that take up our time responding to. While they are immaterial, it still impacts the user experience. I also wish there were the option to upload assignments / documents, and have the option to share resources / collaborate with other users in a format other than videos via coaching.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark is helping us reach a lot of associates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank M. | Manager, Strategic Communications , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

It doesn't have an easy way of tracking who watches the Brainshark without the viewer having to login.

Benefits us with communications and training -- of employees who need the instruction, guidance and assistance quickly and in simple terms.

Sometimes the site crashes. Brainshark support was helpful when this happened.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can show implementation teams the step-by-step details of how to use our product.

  ### 16. Brainshark is a flexible and full featured tool for creating and delivering engaging content.

**Reviewed by:** Eric G. | Sr Technology Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Brainshark does not allow for much in the way of post-production of content.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark allows our organization to rapidly develop and deploy effective training materials.

  ### 17. BrainShark has been the best for creating L&D videos

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Billy L. | QA Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

I wish it could be more hands-on at times..

  ### 18. I love Brainshark! Great platform for Sales training.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

I like so many things about Brainshark. The ease of use, the ability to house content and deliver all training from one application. And the coaching activities are fantastic!

I do not have any dislikes about the platform.

  ### 20. Contractor to Abbott Vascular Division Sales Team; content creator and learning administrator

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Most helpful: Easy to author, once the learning curve is flattened.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

In our unique case, the upgrade took away the stickiness of the search function. It's tedious to keep typing in names of curricula, when you have 101 of them.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Even though it's an LMS "light" the workforce seems comfortable with it, and launching a huge development program is easier when the user is familiar.

  ### 21. An Excellent Product for Sales Enablement and Training

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca F. | Senior Director of Training, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

  ### 25. Easy to use tool for managing employee training

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben T. | Sr. Solutions Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

As a contributor, Brainshark makes it easy to collaborate with others. This makes it easy to generate and distribute training material for the entire workforce. It allows tracking and management of the curriculums and courses so they are always up-to-date. There are loads of areas to track overall progress, usage of courses, completion, etc.
As a learner, I am easily able to find the courses that have been assigned to me, track my progress, and find other areas where I can expand my knowledge of company-provided material. The progress tracker is great for keeping track of various sessions and helping me stay on target for completion. Knowing the number of assignments that need to be completed, the percentage of completion, what's coming up, and the achievements received thus far is a breeze with the to-do list.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There is a learning curve to the navigation and location of items, especially when authoring new content. It also seems that there is an old UI and a new UI that make it seem a bit disjointed. However, once you've gone through everything a few times, it becomes much easier to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

I would recommend spending time upfront learning the overall user experience. Ensure you have plenty of content before publishing and the resources to keep the content up-to-date.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By using Brainshark we were able to easily disseminate training material to the entire workforce. It also allows for tracking completion by both user and team. This put a bit of gamification into play that we could then use to further entice teams. The statistics gave us more knowledge of where to focus our efforts and understand how certain courses were performing.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing us to assign curriculum to our new hires and old when we have new information come out.

  ### 28. Great experience with Brainshark and their team. Very supportive team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

Focusing on coaching.

  ### 29. Great flexible and all encompassing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Brainshark makes creating curriculum and courses very easy. The reporting for it is extremely flexible and easy to use. The best part is how well it integrates with salesforce. It makes it easy for my team to use it and get information out of it quickly and efficiently. It allowed us to have a basic play book for our customers

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The system seems very complex at first. There are many features and functionality to the system and it can feel overwhelming at first. It does require a dedicated person to administer it and mange the users. The system does not tie directly to our HR system so updating new people is a bit tedious. The LMS has some flaws such as not being able to score tests correctly and forcing students to complete test before moving on.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Brainshark will work best for you if you put the time in to set it up in the beginning. It took almost two months to get started but it was worth it. They have been bought oout so the integration with the new parent company is taking precendent ver product improvements

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a place to house our online learning programs and have a place to store content that was need for a sales team. Next we added the ability to use the coaching tool to help develop our teams, this has helped keep all the learning and development in one place. This makes acceptance easier and engagement stronger

I used Brainshark for my organizational learning as well as coaching activities. One of the good features is that it does have a progress tracker to keep in check our learning sessions. The To-Do list is also really well done as it shows the number of assignments that need to be completed, the percentage of completion, and the achievements received thus far.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There is nothing much to dislike about the tool as I found it useful for organizational learning.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

It is a good tool for large organizations to conduct their training and even provide coaching to lessen the knowledge gap of onboarded employees.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All my organizational assignments and training were mapped to and completed using Brainshark.

  ### 31. BRAINSHARK: 5 Ways Your Reps Can Connect Better with Prospects & Customers Using Brainshark

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I learned that I could redo audio on the powerpoint slides I uploaded to BrainShark. this allowed me to practice and make sure the legal wording was all said correctly

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Liked the whole presentation, it would be good to have a viewer interaction so I could be hands-on during the presentation

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure the sales force is compliant with COVID new sales rules. Brainshark allows us to track who is watching and how long on the presentation (to make sure they really watched it). It also allows us to give tests to confirm they learned the subject matter to be legally compliant

  ### 32. Manager, Sales Enablement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra M. | RFP/Sales Support Coordinator , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Coaching Activities have been the most fruitful for our organization. This has allowed our oganization to ensure that the processes, messaging and updates are truly understood by the individuals that make up our team. This ensure that our teammembers have the tools needed in order to be sucessful when they are out in the field.

Another feature that has been a great help is adding the platform to our SSO for easy access across the team, on a new employee's first day they can access the Brainshark tool and be working through training and onboarding so they are ready to be in the field faster.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The use of scorecards didn't end up being as helpful for our organization as we had initially anticipated. Because we leverage our CRM systems dashboards extensively for most of our internal processess, it became redundant to use the Scorecard feature the way that we had intended.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Be sure to leverage your support team as much as possible while implementing the solution for optimal success in your setup.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most extensive assists that we have leveraged with Brainshark is breaking out our onboarding curriculums by the different roles and verticals that make up our Sales organization. This has allowed us to become very specialized with our training and onboarding program by biphercating the different roles by team. This has meant that training content is only consumed by the teams that need to leverage it for their role in the organization. There is no wasted time on content that will not help that teammember be successful in the field.

  ### 33. Great training delivery and data collection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claire L. | Guest Experience Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Ability to share presentations virtually is great. I like being able to share reports with staff on training compliance. I like that employees can access documents and presentations anywhere onsite. We have a large crew that doesn't have a fixed desk so the mobile capabilities are great.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Data collection can be redundant. If users view a video for just a few seconds, but don't complete the presentation, there are multiple entries for each user.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Are you looking to create presentations quickly using PowerPoint or already created documents? These presentations can be as great as you can make PowerPoint work.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching our part time staff on their time since they can choose when to watch their training. We are now looking into exploring how to add our SOPs online to create standardized trainings for all. We are also looking into adding different capacities for tracking maintenance.

  ### 34. Limited experience on the back end but have been a user on the front end.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The look of the interface is slick and easy. As a user, the visuals are nice between the image thumbnails for the course, the video quality and the interactive questions. I like how you can see how long the course section is while you're taking it.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Limited length on how long the videos are allowed to be in order to be directly uploaded is an obstacle. We recently filmed 20-minute videos that had to be embedded from Youtube in order to work. This created a bit of clunkiness in the interface.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's been a great way to put content out there for our clients in time period where we can't travel as easily. It's provided a source of revenue that we would have lost in this pandemic.

  ### 35. Some one-of-a-kind insights, some shortcomings

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack K. | Sr. Sales Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Brainshark LMS has most of the basic functionalities of any LMS, but offers three clear, unique propositions not found elsewhere:

1. The coaching add-on is outstanding. It's a way of requiring learners to submit a response to training they have received, and responses can be both reviewed using machine learning, and also distributed for human review to the student's designated manager or coach. It's seamless, and faciltates a wide range of uses, from messaging and presentation coaching to idea/best practices collaboration in a convenient format. Especially valuable for sales training.

2. While Brainshark's content creation engine is not best-in-class, it's reporting is. When building a training module entirely within Brainshark, some advanced reporting becomes available that no other platform can provide. Engagement scores provided in a slide-by-slide format helps perfect e-learning because you can see exactly where the presentation is dragging, or people are falling off. You can see time spent on each slide, and someone's click path through a presentation. This is valuable insight not available elsewhere.

3. Brainshark's ability to provide external-facing training is not often found in other LMSs. For example, if you have a variable network of 3rd-party dealers who may need to access product training, rather than having to manage their account access, you can just provide a link where anyone can access this external-facing presentation, removing the need to produce a video to a content host - it can be kept in your LMS and require a guestbook sign-in to see who has accessed and when.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There are a few downsides to Brainshark as well. The ability to report and automate reporting is present, but reporting options are limited. You can customize the report inclusion/exclusion criteria, but there's no ability to add/remove columns in terms of customization. Meaning if you're sending reports without "polishing" in Excel afterward, these reports will spit out with dozens of unnecessary columns for that recipient. You also cannot generate a curriculum report with the content pieces in the order they are presented to the audience, a very useful documentation report that just isn't possible at this time.

There are some other clunky aspects to Brainshark as a function of the various products they have integrated. Coaching activities and Scorecards do not have a consistent look and feel with the rest of the platform, and there are very specific "rules" for making these interactions work the way you would expect them to. There's definitely a learning curve to getting the hang of these "tricks".

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

When considering Brainshark as a primary LMS for an organization, the unique benefits are very specific: Coaching and feedback enablement, the simple content creation engine with excellent reporting when used, and the ability to publish links to external-facing training. There is no denying these are valuable. However, in a larger or more complex organization where content is being created using courseware (Storyline, etc.), you lose that advanced reporting ability. If you have stringent reporting requirements, such as in the medical industry where curricula must be audited by regulatory bodies, the limited reporting functionality will be a headache.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark's coaching functionality is enabling seeing faster Time to Trained as well as improved confidence in new hires. We expect the "many hands" content creation capabilities to pay dividends as more subject matter experts are creating their own content as well.

Automated reporting makes it easy to set and forget updates to people leaders.

  ### 36. Fantastic all in one

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane J. | Digital Learning Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Simple enough for anyone to create rich learning materials from PowerPoint. The coaching module is fantastic and easy to use by managers and sales personal. The inbuilt Learning module (LMS) is fantastic as well.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Management of users, groups and the creation of curriculums is a little clunky but it is no different to any other LMS I have used. It's fine once you get used to it.
The one area that needs improving is the creation and uploading of certificates. This needs be be able to be done by admin within the system instead of requiring it to be sent to support for uploaded

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solution for simple rapid learning content development that anyone in our organisation could do. Tick!
Virtual coaching has long been goal of our organisation and the Brainshark coaching module is one of the best that we have tested. Tick!
We were looking for an easy to use and engaging platform for delivering curriculums. Tick!

  ### 37. Solid platform geared specifically for sales training/enablement. FANTASTIC customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan Y. | Senior Learning and Development Specialist, Global Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

In terms of features, probably how easy it is to set up a presentation and invite SMEs or other contributors to record audio. Really good user experience for contributors without any brainshark expertise to add narration or perspective. Lots of media types supported. Very easy to update courses when needed. Really good reporting, too, with CSV and PDF options.

We use the sales coaching module as well, and it's been really cool to be able to deploy sales exercises in the same framework as we use for training content. Having just one portal simplifies the learner experience and gives us integrated reporting capabilities.

Brainshark's customer support is amazing. I've been in this business for twenty years and never had such available & responsive support from an LMS or LCMS. Documentation is very well-written and often includes video walk-throughs. There are well-produced training curriculums to orient people new to brainshark and get them up to speed on specific capabilities.

Integration with Salesforce has been a really helpful feature as well.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

No versioning, so that if you want to have earlier versions of a course on record for historical or liability reasons, you've got to export a version of the course into an external system before making any changes.

There aren't any CMS clutter-management features, like content lifetiming and archiving, which would be nice since we are at the point of having all kinds of old one-off presentations hanging out and it's getting daunting to sort out. More of a wishlist item than a dislike, I suppose.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainshark is the backbone of our onboarding and continuing education for sales. We have a global team and a highly technical product line. We have to be highly responsive to new developments in our products and our market segments. We have a large number of SMEs, product managers, and execs who need to participate in training and messaging content. That's exactly what brainshark is designed for. It's been a great tool for professionalizing our onboarding process and our in-service training, providing on-demand learning resources, simplifying the training landscape for sales, and developing/delivering just-in-time training. As we were in a multi-year process of consolidating global regions into a more integrated sales framework, training has been critical. With brainshark we were able to have an organized, single-portal development/delivery tool to help facilitate all kinds of product and process shifts in a fast-moving environment with lots of content contributers.

  ### 38. Solid options for training coordinators.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole L. | Learning and Development Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

One of my favorite things about the Brainshark platform is the ability to insert questions anywhere in the training. The one thing that prevented us from going elsewhere was other platforms requiring all testing to be at the end only for training - which does nothing to enhance adult learning. We were truly able to customize our trainings in a way that is logical and encompasses the for major learning types to insure that any participant would walk away with a clear understanding.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I'm not a fan of the scorecards. We do not use the platform for internal training, so at any one time I would have to set up 40 or 50 different reports for the same training. They are too time consuming and group managers are unable to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Make full use of the tutorials and support provided in your onboarding. It may feel overwhelming at first, but all the suggestions they make will come in handy later when implementing new processes.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company usually does 40 onsite trainings a year for the companies we serve. With COVID we are unable to travel. The platform allowed us to continue training and reach a greater audience at one time. We also enjoyed being able to track participant and understading.

  ### 39. Perfect Professional Tool for your Team and Great Resource for Firms that Train Employees.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah B. | Global Education Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Brainshark is efficient and it's used in our organization across various departments where we use it in employee onboarding and coaching. However, we do use it mostly for the sales training tools and the coaching features. As well as the presentations. I love the presentation feature. Our presentations are used for onboarding and other multiple training purposes. It makes it easy to provide these tools to new hires within the company. The Brainshark vendor aims to help companies prepare their client-facing teams with the knowledge, skills and insights they need to perform at the highest level.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

A step-by-step guide after creating an account would be beneficial. There are many tabs within Brainshark, and it's easy to get confused about what you're looking for while on the platform. On the other hand, some of our less tech-savvy users had a steep learning curve in understanding how best to use the platform. For instance, sometimes we hear back that it is hard to find what you are assigned to do, and we may need teamates to assist users when they have assignments due. Last cons I would say are the technical aspects can be tricky- embedding a video, merging content, etc.
Editing
Branding
Customizable surveys.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

It's simple to use and highly customizable. Great for sales knowledge. There are so many ways you can implement it, though, so if you choose this product, make sure that you spend the time to understand all of the awesome stuff it can do.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales pitch techniques need to be reviewed by managers. To do this, we needed a coaching tool. Brainshark provides a coaching tool that we have leveraged to practice their sales pitches and earn feedback from their managers.

  ### 40. Meaningful Addition to out Organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randolph R. | Director of Sales, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

We had no organized system for creating, sharing, and controlling to use of internal training. Brainshark solved all our issues and allowed us to better stay on top of both internal and external (with distributor partners) access to a large amount of training and sales content.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Content Authors-use Chrome or go home. Browser compatibility is primarily (in my experience) geared for Google Chrome users. Some functionality seems limited on other browsers ( when creating content as an author). For users/viewers, most browsers seem to function well.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

As long as you want to easily create and distribute content ( power point presentations, photos, .pdfs, video, audio, etc.) to your team and customers with ease, this is a great product.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR loves Brainshark for internal training, especially safety training and documentation that our employees have taken the required safety courses.

  ### 41. Brainshark from the point of view of the learner and the facilitator!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie L. | Lead Enablement Program Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I love that curriculums can be broken down into smaller digestible chunks; it's very visual and easy to navigate. As a facilitator, I love that I can have our managers leave feedback right within Brainshark.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Load times can be a bit of a deterent but manageable if addressed upfront.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Great LMS - highly reccomend

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of creating content on the fly, and changing content as we grow and scale, having multiple iterations of curriculums that don't take forever to create.

  ### 42. Easy to use and very insightful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | Sales Operations Manager - Training, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I love that I can get a rapid overview of my team's training assessments. I can see who has completed what and who is falling behind. The scorecards also provide a way for me to gauge if the training I am providing assists the reps in their daily activities.
I also love the support provided by the Brainshark team. We have had great support from Brainshark. Not only with our implementation team, but also with the Brainshark help desk as well.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

It can be tricky when working with enrollments across a large group of employees. Since different divisions have different needs, it is easy to create a group to determine later that that group is entirely not suited for your needs. But this comes through experience.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We did not have a "central repository" for training before we implemented Brainshark. Several of our divisions were utilizing different platforms. By choosing to implement the Brainshark tool, we can keep all of our group's training in a single centralized location. This reduces confusion and gives our managers a way to track employees' progress with required pieces of training. The scorecards also provide a "one-stop-shop" for our managers. They can see both training results & CRM data on a single screen.

  ### 43. Excellent Training Tool for Sales

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie B. | Director, Commercial Enablement, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I love the flexibility and ease of use we get with Brainshark - the ability to quickly upload a PPT presentation and record narration slide-by-slide or upload a video into a trackable presentation or course, or do a screenshare right in Brainshark to offer a demo-like training experience! We also use the Coaching Challenge capability built in to discern how well training is absorbed.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Sometimes it is a bit confusing on things like copying a presentation or course, or making changes to a presentation that has since been turned into a course, etc. but that is about it!

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

We have found Brainshark to be a very user-friendly and flexible solution for our myriad training needs. It is very encouraging when you see a company "use" what they sell and Brainshark definitely "eats what they bake!" One of the the best parts as an administrator is being able to share a couple of "Brainsharks" on how to create a Brainshark with new users and they are able to go off and start creating trainings without the need for 1x1 training. Highly recommend!

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Brainshark to deliver new hire onboarding training. It's easy to get disparate groups and functions to create and narrate a PPT to describe their area, and for a new employee to have that information/training at their fingertip - while providing a way to track and report on the interaction.

Especially during this remote existence thrust upon us in the past year due to the pandemic, Brainshark has given us a way to continue to offer training [albeit virtual].

  ### 44. Robust LMS platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Built-in coaching. Scorecards for reporting. I like that you can record slide by slide for easy updates and there are a lot of different types of content that you can use. I predominately upload slides from Google Slides, video clips and create quizes. Helps us keep track of who is completing activities

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There is a pretty big learning curve. I wish we could update decks a bit more easily like adding slides from google slides insteado of from powerpoint since that's what my company uses. I also wish we set a time for launching courses/curricula/activities instead of having to go in manually to launch.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Train more than one person to learn how to do tasks and admin in Brainshark. It does have a bit of a learning curve. Much easier if a small group learns how to use it together.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having multiple new hires going through training during the pandemic on different time zones and tracks of learning would be impossible to coordinate without Brainshark. Also the coaching activities for new hires allows me to see if they are truly understanding what they have learned since they have to articulate the message.

  ### 45. Engaging Sales and Demo Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve S. | R, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

COVID-19 severely altered our buying process. We delayed a late 2019 discussion for over one year. The Brainshark sales team remained engaged but not pushy. They answered all of our quesions, did two different demos, customizing the discussion to our needs. In the end, we selected Brainshark. Once again, the sales and account management teams at Brainshark customized our account to suit our needs, with varying levels of users in one agreement.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

We are satisfied with our experience and starting to work through the various implementation tasks in front of us. We are confident the Brainshark team will guide us through a natural and smooth process.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating an internal University is our goal in selecting Brainshark. We intend to use the platform to deliver micro-training and traditional training to our sales, service, and operations teams.

  ### 46. Net at Work Brainshark Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren C. | Sales Enablement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

What I like best about Brainshark is the support team I have worked with since joining Net at Work. Jeremy, Kim, and Chad have worked with me through every (sometimes painful) step of getting to know Brainshark and understanding the full functionality while focused on the end goal of making our enablement environment the best experience possible for our organization. I could not have accomplished what I have in such a short time without them!

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

If I had to choose a dislike, the number of clicks/drill-downs is sometimes needed to find courses that learners have enrolled in.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To date, we have not had a formal sales new hire or ongoing training program in place; Brainshark and the support/guidance of the team have helped us solve the challenge with organizing paths, curriculum, and reporting. Presenting the leadership team with metrics has been invaluable in driving to the goal of everyone completing learning and career paths!

  ### 47. Sales Enablement Dream Tool with World-class Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

After some basic up-front learning, creating new exercises for our sales team is very simple and easy to distribute out to the teams. In addition to ease-of-use, I tend to lean on the outstanding Brainshark support team to help me navigate more complicated exercises. They listen intently to my situation, repeat back to me what they believe my needs are, and then move forward with walking me through step-by-step how to create the course. I am impressed!

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

I am not a fan of the "record directly to Brainshark" feature. Too often, I have end-users contact me telling me that they cannot find their videos after they recorded it. I advise all end-users to record on a different platform and then upload the video to Brainshark.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this tool not only for new-hire onboarding (essential!), but also for new product messaging that must be perfected by the entire sales team quickly. Without the use of Brainshark, we would have to take the entire sales team out of the field at a pre-determined time and train them on the new messaging. With Brainshark, we can push this learning out to them to view the exercises on their own time!

  ### 48. Modern Version of LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

What I like best about the system broken down into areas:
Reporting: the information in the reporting, the many ways you can acquire a report.
Coaching activities. There are so many ways you can use this option to support training and connectivity. I think it is very current, allows for practice, it allows for confidence building, allows for reduced travel time to show skills are just a few of the parts I like. One way to use it is to have team send a weekly update via a coaching session.
Content: the ease to upload content.
System overall: Easy to manipulate, up-to-date, it is fresh, appealing site, and easy on the eyes.
Home tab: Housing of content using the filters.
Scorecards: Easier to review than using the reports.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The technical issues I have experience with using the coaching sessions. These issues caused frustration among users. The good news, the glitches were fixed.
The app's four tab icons do not match up with the tabs on the web version. I.e. The Home page (the house icon).
Reporting is great; however, I wish it had easier steps to get there.
The sharing tab is not available yet, but looking forward to this being something in the future.
The transcript, I wish it was as easy as click the button and your transcript would pop up and if needed to change dates that is an option.
The scorecards: There is a lot of information in scorecards. Easier to find if they changed how to search. I.e. use curriculum instead of amount of time.

**Recommendations to others considering Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark):**

Need to be organized with all your trainings.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time - time to meet with managers or mentors to demo a skill. The coaching session is helpful here.
The ability to have content in various formats makes it more engaging and updated. The delivery can change.
New hires can engage in learning in various ways in addition to in person trainings. Elevates their learning.
Can add pretests to help determine if additional training is needed.

  ### 49. Brainshark Supports our Global Sales Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Ability to house and logically organize external-facing and internal support materials, making it easy for reps to find, use and share. Integrates very well with SFDC enabling "content-in-context", emailing content directly from a SFDC record and tracking customer engagement with that content. Can organize, assign and track training through the Learning portal and then give rep opportunity to demonstrate skill and best practices the Coaching tool. Content with audio and animations created using PowerPoint allowing multiple experts to more easily contribute content.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

Could improve admin tools and reporting. However, I'm noticing more attention to these areas this past year and seeing incremental updates that are impactful.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solved a problem we had with reps using outdated/off-brand materials. Brainshark is our single source of the most current customer collateral. Also has enabled the delivery of online, sales-focused training content that can be deployed quickly and "just-in-time." Finally - Brainshark Coaching supports more regular and consistent opportunities for reps to demonstrate competence and receive immediate feedback from their Manager.

  ### 50. Recommended for excellent support teams and continued development.

**What do you like best about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

The Brainshark support team is incredibly helpful. they are quick to respond and willing to set up a call to help you work through any of your issues. I also greatly appreciate that they take and respond to product development submissions. They listen to what their user base wants and respond.

**What do you dislike about Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark)?**

There are many things that in my opinion are much harder than they need to be. Some examples off the top of my head include submitting powerpoint slides as certificates, managing users and groups is very unintuitive, the admin GUI is outdated and cumbersome, thumbnails for courses are displayed in different sizes depending on what page you are on, courses open in new windows and we had to train our organization how to exclude Brainshark from their pop-up blocker, the home page is essentially useless.

Overall I'd like to see a complete overhaul of the user experience.

**What problems is Bigtincan Readiness (formerly Brainshark) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went with Brainshark as an LMS because of three reasons:

1. Video response for sales training. Machine learning within coaching is very helpful.
2. The management of internal training is very flexible in the ability to create curriculums and folders available to only specific departments.
3. External training. Through presentations and grade book we have been able to offer training courses for all of our products without having to make them create an account. We can also link to the trainings from our own website.
