"Streamlined Time and Billing with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like that BigTime makes timekeeping very straightforward, which helps ensure hours are entered accurately. The integrated invoicing is also a strong benefit as it connects time entries directly to billing and simplifies the process. The ease of use for core financial workflows, along with solid feature depth and billing and tracking, makes it dependable for day-to-day operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Reporting in BigTime can feel complex, and the lack of an option to schedule reports for automatic distribution adds extra manual work. There's also no fully integrated project management platform, which means using a separate system. User rights and access settings can be confusing as well, especially without an easy way to preview permission views from another user's perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Easy Time Tracking with Plenty of Flexible Options"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

Simple interface. Ease of use. Options galore, in terms of how time is recorded, detail-level and the ability to duplicate recurring entries easily are all great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I would love to be able to search for an old entry using 1 or 2 words. Sometimes I need to find out an exact date a task was completed and have no other way to do so; other times I need to find outdated entries for different reasons. Having a "searchbox" type of option would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review — and for the 5-star rating. It’s great to know that the flexibility in how you record time, from detailed entries to duplicating recurring work, is making your day-to-day tracking easier and more efficient.

We put a lot of focus on keeping the interface simple while still giving users options, so it’s encouraging to hear that balance is working well for you — especially with features like timers that support accurate task tracking.

Your suggestion about adding a keyword search for older entries is also a valuable one. Being able to quickly surface past work by searching a few words would certainly make historical lookups more seamless, and feedback like this helps us think about where additional usability improvements could have a meaningful impact.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad BigTime is helping you stay organized and on top of your work.

"Effortless Time Tracking with Minor Flaws"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like how easy the BigTime interface is. It makes it easy to record my hours, so when it's time to submit my experience record book for licensing, everything is already organized. I appreciate that it keeps recording my time even after I close it, which makes it super user-friendly—I can keep my tabs clean and still trust that it's logging my time, even if I close it by accident. The initial setup was super easy and didn’t take any time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

The fact that when you minimize the screen, the timer gets hidden in the background. Secondly, the main page that you see when I open it does not display the latest work week. Instead, it takes me back to the first week when I started logging my hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review. A 4-star rating means a lot, especially when it comes with this level of context.

It is great to know BigTime is helping you stay organized for something as important as licensing submissions. Having your hours consistently recorded and accessible when you need them removes a lot of stress from that process. The fact that you can trust the timer to keep running even if you close a tab is exactly the kind of reliability we want users to feel.

We also appreciate you calling out the visibility of the timer when minimized and the default week view. Small navigation details like that can shape the overall experience more than people realize, so that perspective is helpful.

Thanks again for taking the time to leave a thoughtful review and for trusting BigTime with something that directly supports your professional goals.

"Effortless Weekly Time Tracking with Auto-Carried IDs and Instant Hour Totals"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like how Project, Phase, and Activity IDs automatically carry into future weeks unless deleted, which saves time and prevents me from having to re-add the same rows repeatedly. I also appreciate how quickly total hours update as I type them in, providing immediate feedback and helping ensure accuracy. Overall, the ease of use, continuity of entries, and responsive calculations make weekly time tracking much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

The column widths are not automatically aligned when entering time, so each day of the week does not line up neatly without manually adjusting the columns. This requires stretching them every day, which can interrupt workflow. Additionally, there does not appear to be an option to copy tasks or memos, which would make recurring entries faster and more convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed and thoughtful review. Feedback at this level — especially with a strong rating behind it — truly matters to us. It shows not only that the platform is delivering value, but that you’re paying attention to how it can be even better.

We’re glad BigTime is supporting your team’s need for structured, accurate billable tracking. At the same time, the practical suggestions you shared around column alignment and easier duplication of recurring entries are exactly the kind of real-world insights that help refine day-to-day usability.

We appreciate you sharing both the strengths and the opportunities. Reviews like yours help us continue evolving the product in ways that directly support consulting teams and performance-driven organizations.

"BigTime Makes Time Tracking Simple with a Clean, Intuitive UI"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime is simple and easy to use with an intuitive UI/UX that makes the process streamlined for a typical staff member. The layout feels clean and straightforward, which reduces confusion and makes entering time quick and efficient. Overall, the ease of use, clarity of structure, and smooth daily workflow make it practical for consistent time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Once hours are submitted, editing them can only be done by HR or accounts payable, which can create unnecessary back-and-forth communication. It would be helpful to have a feature that allows users to flag submitted entries that need changes, automatically notifying the appropriate manager to unlock them.

Additionally, when a project is closed, it is not automatically removed or clearly flagged on the timesheet. A visual indicator or pop-up warning would help prevent time being entered into closed projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Time tracking tools succeed or fail based on how quickly people can adopt them — and it’s encouraging to hear BigTime reduces friction for staff while keeping entries clear and consistent. When a system minimizes confusion and shortens training time, that has a real ripple effect across a team.

You’ve also highlighted two thoughtful improvement areas around post-submission flexibility and visibility into closed projects. Workflow clarity doesn’t stop at submission, and ideas like flagging entries for review or clearly marking inactive projects speak directly to preventing unnecessary back-and-forth and entry errors. That kind of operational detail matters.

We truly appreciate the depth of your feedback. Reviews like this — balanced, specific, and practical — help us continue strengthening BigTime not just as a time tracker, but as a reliable operational system for growing teams.

"Intuitive, Well-Organized Time Tracking That Keeps Logging Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

What I like most about BigTime is how intuitive and well organized it feels. The time-tracking process is straightforward and doesn’t require a lot of clicks, which makes it easy for me to stay consistent about logging my hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

BigTime can feel slow at times, and I’ve run into a few minor glitches that make time entry and reporting less smooth than I’d expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Consistency is everything when it comes to time tracking, especially in a development workflow. It’s great to hear BigTime keeps logging simple and organized without adding extra clicks or unnecessary overhead. When tracking time doesn’t interrupt the actual work, that’s a win.

We also appreciate you pointing out the moments where performance or minor glitches affect the experience. When a tool is used daily, even small slowdowns stand out, so that kind of feedback is important.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a clear perspective. It means a lot to earn a 5-star rating while also getting thoughtful input on where we can keep improving the experience.

"Easy Time Tracking and Weekly Approvals in One Place"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

It is very easy to keep track of all my time and productivity. I also like the ease of approval at the end of each week. It is easy to submit mileage reimbursement for approval right within the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I wish there were templates that can remember my everyday items that I track each day that are the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

It’s great to see how BigTime fits naturally into your daily rhythm — logging time right after a task or meeting, adding mileage as it happens, and wrapping up the week with a smooth approval process. When those pieces line up, staying organized feels much more manageable.

The idea of having templates for recurring daily items makes a lot of sense, especially when your schedule has predictable elements. Small efficiencies like that can add up quickly over time.

We appreciate you sharing such a detailed look at how you’re using the platform. It’s helpful to understand how the reminders, approvals, and reimbursement features come together in real day-to-day use.

"Effortless Timesheet Management with BigTime"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like BigTime for its easy ability to input projects and reference what I've worked on on what dates. I can quickly flip through the weeks and see what projects were worked on, which helps when I need to reference this for billing or in conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Not something that BigTime can fix, but I do not have admin/editing capabilities as I am a project coordinator, so I have to request someone to make changes if there is a phase that doesn't exist yet or something about how we input time needs changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

We really appreciate you taking the time to share how you’re using BigTime. Being able to quickly move between weeks and see exactly which projects and phases were worked on can make a big difference, especially when those details come up later for billing or in day-to-day conversations.

Thanks as well for calling out the admin permissions piece. Different roles naturally come with different levels of access, and hearing how that affects your workflow helps us better understand where coordination and handoffs can slow things down.

We’re glad BigTime is helping you stay organized around projects, phases, and billable work, and we appreciate you sharing such a clear picture of how it fits into your role.

"Effortless Setup, But Watch for Timeouts"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like how easy it is to upload my expenses and time sheets with BigTime. The features are relatively easy to use, and I find uploading timesheets to be especially straightforward. I also appreciate that the company time stays the same each week, so I don't have to continually add a different row. Additionally, the initial setup was super easy—just adding all the different rows for my company and clients, and they stay there each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Sometimes the website times out, and if I make an entry and try to save it, it doesn't save. Then it refreshes, and I lose my work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

A smooth setup and consistent weekly rows can make a real difference when billing clients regularly. It’s good to know BigTime is helping you upload time and expenses without unnecessary repetition.

At the same time, losing entries due to timeouts is understandably frustrating. When you’ve already taken the time to log your work, having it disappear interrupts momentum. We appreciate you calling that out.

Thank you for the balanced review and the 4-star rating. Feedback like this helps us focus on making the experience not just easy, but reliably seamless.
