"Working with BigTime as a Consultant Client"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

Keeping track of expenses and input in relations to invoicing. Being able to see when we are going over an original amount on a jobs original balance. We also like the tracking of what has been invoiced what can be closed out, earnings. Also being able to add to the job, not having to create multiple jobs for the same area or client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Not being able to attach documents to the jobs created. We are currently looking at different integrations to use, that will help us in transferring over job information which will help in the error of job set up. We have documents as in proposals, drawings, purchase order receipts if those items were able to be saved under the job itself would help in errors for inputing the details of the job and purchase orders for the job itself. "Quick to Use, Eye-Pleasing Visuals, and Smooth QuickBooks Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

It’s very quick and easy to access. The program’s visuals are eye-pleasing and don’t have that boring, traditional accounting-style look. It works well with QuickBooks. The cost is worth the time it used to take to create timesheets, workplans, budgets, etc. We received great support when firts purchasing the product. We were up and running within days. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Making new reports do take time to determine how to make them, but the online support is helpful and quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Time Tracking with Minor Tweaks Needed"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like how BigTime is very intuitive and easy to understand and navigate. The time entry feature is something I use regularly because it's required at work, and it also lets me organize my tasks and know my impact on different projects. I appreciate that it gives me visibility into how effectively I'm using my time. BigTime being more intuitive was a key factor in our switch from Nexonia, and I assume it provides better backend analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I get annoyed by the repeated time entry. It's sometimes annoying to have to reenter the same thing. Also, finding the right project is fairly simple, but it would be nicer if it was more straightforward. Additionally, when it comes to tracking the week that I'm submitting, it'd be nice to have a notification like, 'Hey, you're submitting your time on the wrong week,' just so I don't have to reenter the time. "Helpful hour tracking and matter info, but the UI and time-entry navigation need work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like that it automatically calculates my over/under hours each day, and that I can access all the job information directly from the matter list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I wish there was a button to jump to today’s date when I’m scrolling through the weekly time entries (instead of having to refresh the page). Overall, I’m not a fan of the UI design. We used to use Harvest, and I really liked the clean, modern look of that platform.

What I HATE most is that if I start a new entry, fill out the notes section, and then forget to add the hours, the entry deletes itself if I click elsewhere on the page. Instead of prompting me to enter hours, the entry just disappears and I lose all my notes. It’s extremely frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Expenses and Timesheets Together in One Convenient System"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like that I can put my expenses and my timesheets in the same system. The system really keeps track of everything well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Sometimes I get timed out when inputting weekly time. My system admin has to make sure they give the right task, project, and category. Unless they do that, I can't enter time in correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time-Saving Tool with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

What I find most helpful about BigTime is the timer feature. It’s incredibly easy to use with just one click, allowing me to track my time efficiently without navigating complicated menus. I can switch between different projects swiftly, and it automatically saves everything, which significantly reduces my mental load. I also appreciate the reporting feature as it provides clean, simple reports that are easy to understand. It visually clarifies where my team's time is being spent, aiding in faster, informed decision-making. Another aspect I like is the customer service; they respond quickly and explain things clearly, which is very helpful during busy weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

To be honest, BigTime is good but not perfect. Here are a few things that don’t work so well for me or that I wish were better: The mobile app is okay, but it feels a bit slow and clunky sometimes. When I’m on the go and want to quickly start or stop the timer, it takes a couple of extra seconds to load, which is annoying when I’m in a hurry. The user interface looks a little old-school. It’s not very modern or clean compared to some newer tools I’ve seen. Sometimes it feels like I’m using software from 10 years ago. It feels a bit crowded and outdated. The buttons and menus are small, and everything looks kind of gray and plain. A cleaner, modern look with bigger fonts, more white space, and brighter colors would make it much easier on the eyes, especially when I’m staring at it for hours. What do you like best about BigTime?

I appreciate BigTime because it saves me time on administrative overhead, letting me focus entirely on project delivery and regular tasks. I like its clean and intuitive interface, which makes it easy to use. I find the weekly timesheet grid view particularly useful, making high-volume entry very efficient. The initial setup was also much easy, which was a pleasant experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Weekly One-Page View Keeps Me Organized"
4/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

Keeping everything for the week organized on one single page is super helpful, so that I can see everything I need to know. I also like having notes that can be added to the inputs as well as the total hours at the bottom of the page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I despise the way the app is set up. It's extremely tedious to use and needs to be overhauled. I'd suggest modeling it more after the web browser version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"BigTime Makes Invoicing and Time Tracking Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime is very user-friendly and easy to learn, especially when it comes to invoicing.

Tracking labor and hours spent has also been straightforward, which makes it easy to stay

on top of day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I'd like to see one-on-one training available on how to generate specific reports for the

owners, ideally at a reasonable price. That's the main gap I've noticed so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
