"Easy, Fast, and Reliable—Strong Reporting in One All-in-One System"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime is easy to use and quick to open, especially compared to other software that can take longer to load. It is simple to find projects using the search bar, which makes entering time fast and efficient. The reporting tools are strong, particularly for tracking budgets and project profitability. I also appreciate that it combines project management, invoicing, and expense tracking into one system instead of needing multiple tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, more advanced report customization can take a

few extra steps to configure exactly how I want it displayed. However, the system overall functions reliably and

supports core project and billing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and intuitive timesheet with a clear calendar view"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I really like the calendar view in the timesheet. It’s simple, clear, and makes tracking time feel natural instead of forced. Overall, the system is user-friendly, which matters a lot when using it frequently. The reporting tools are also helpful when I need a quick snapshot of what’s going on. With the ease of use, solid number of features, and straightforward setup, it fits easily into my daily routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

The timesheet can get a bit crowded over time, especially with older projects still showing up. It would be great if inactive projects could be hidden automatically after a certain period. I also think the budget view could be improved by including unsubmitted hours or showing them separately. That would make it easier to see the full picture without extra steps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy time tracking with a great task switching and timer feature"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

The timesheet view is really helpful because I can see all my time for the week in one place and make edits

quickly if needed. I also like how easy it is to switch between tasks while tracking time during the day. It makes it

simple to stay accurate without interrupting my workflow. Keeping track of billable versus non billable work is also

very clear. The new timer is a great addition and makes it easy to see what I am actively working on at any

moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

There are no major issues that stand out in daily use. At times, it would be helpful to have a bit more flexibility in

customizing views or summaries depending on how I want to review my time. Overall though, the system works

well for what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to navigate with a helpful submission review process"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

I really like the user interface. It’s clean and easy to navigate between weeks without getting lost. Entering hours is straightforward, and the overall layout feels intuitive. I also appreciate the submission process—having that extra step to review and edit my hours before final submission is genuinely helpful. It gives me a chance to double-check that everything is accurate before the week is locked in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

One issue I’ve noticed is with the submission notifications. I submitted my hours in December, but I’m still receiving notices saying I have unsubmitted hours. When I go back and check that time period, I don’t see anything missing or incomplete. If this is a glitch, I’d really appreciate it being fixed, since it can be confusing and make me wonder whether something was actually left unfinished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive Interface That’s Easy to Learn"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

The user interface is clean and easy to understand. It does not take long to learn, and daily use feels straightforward. Navigation makes sense, and tasks like entering time or reviewing information are simple. Overall, the ease of use is one of the strongest parts of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

The mobile app experience could be better. At times it does not feel as smooth or as intuitive as the desktop version. While it is usable, improvements in performance and layout would make it more consistent across devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Easy Time Tracking with Plenty of Flexible Options"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

Simple interface. Ease of use. Options galore, in terms of how time is recorded, detail-level and the ability to duplicate recurring entries easily are all great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I would love to be able to search for an old entry using 1 or 2 words. Sometimes I need to find out an exact date a task was completed and have no other way to do so; other times I need to find outdated entries for different reasons. Having a "searchbox" type of option would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review — and for the 5-star rating. It’s great to know that the flexibility in how you record time, from detailed entries to duplicating recurring work, is making your day-to-day tracking easier and more efficient.

We put a lot of focus on keeping the interface simple while still giving users options, so it’s encouraging to hear that balance is working well for you — especially with features like timers that support accurate task tracking.

Your suggestion about adding a keyword search for older entries is also a valuable one. Being able to quickly surface past work by searching a few words would certainly make historical lookups more seamless, and feedback like this helps us think about where additional usability improvements could have a meaningful impact.

We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad BigTime is helping you stay organized and on top of your work.

"BigTime Makes Time Tracking Simple with a Clean, Intuitive UI"
5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime is simple and easy to use with an intuitive UI/UX that makes the process streamlined for a typical staff member. The layout feels clean and straightforward, which reduces confusion and makes entering time quick and efficient. Overall, the ease of use, clarity of structure, and smooth daily workflow make it practical for consistent time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

Once hours are submitted, editing them can only be done by HR or accounts payable, which can create unnecessary back-and-forth communication. It would be helpful to have a feature that allows users to flag submitted entries that need changes, automatically notifying the appropriate manager to unlock them.

Additionally, when a project is closed, it is not automatically removed or clearly flagged on the timesheet. A visual indicator or pop-up warning would help prevent time being entered into closed projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Time tracking tools succeed or fail based on how quickly people can adopt them — and it’s encouraging to hear BigTime reduces friction for staff while keeping entries clear and consistent. When a system minimizes confusion and shortens training time, that has a real ripple effect across a team.

You’ve also highlighted two thoughtful improvement areas around post-submission flexibility and visibility into closed projects. Workflow clarity doesn’t stop at submission, and ideas like flagging entries for review or clearly marking inactive projects speak directly to preventing unnecessary back-and-forth and entry errors. That kind of operational detail matters.

We truly appreciate the depth of your feedback. Reviews like this — balanced, specific, and practical — help us continue strengthening BigTime not just as a time tracker, but as a reliable operational system for growing teams.

"Intuitive, Well-Organized Time Tracking That Keeps Logging Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about BigTime?

What I like most about BigTime is how intuitive and well organized it feels. The time-tracking process is straightforward and doesn’t require a lot of clicks, which makes it easy for me to stay consistent about logging my hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

BigTime can feel slow at times, and I’ve run into a few minor glitches that make time entry and reporting less smooth than I’d expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Consistency is everything when it comes to time tracking, especially in a development workflow. It’s great to hear BigTime keeps logging simple and organized without adding extra clicks or unnecessary overhead. When tracking time doesn’t interrupt the actual work, that’s a win.

We also appreciate you pointing out the moments where performance or minor glitches affect the experience. When a tool is used daily, even small slowdowns stand out, so that kind of feedback is important.

Thank you for taking the time to share such a clear perspective. It means a lot to earn a 5-star rating while also getting thoughtful input on where we can keep improving the experience.
