As an accountant, I need a single source where data can be collected, and that is currently what is working for us in our usage of BigTime. **What do you dislike about BigTime?** Here are a few of the BigTime aspects that don't work for us: - The WIP percentages are usually inaccurate...go ahead, do the math with a calculator and you'll see that % number is often not correct, and it's unpredictable. As an accountant, this drives me crazy. Our clients have commented multiple times and it's created a real issue that we have yet to solve without tedious manual effort. It's our team's primary reason we would consider switching to another product. - The interface is quite outdated. Feels like working on a mid-2000s system and the constant need to manually refresh is annoying. Additionally, the product isn't at all intuitive for new team members, and there's no plug-and-play video tutorials or library of video resources we can use to train a new team member. Written guides aren't nearly as useful and trying to build training around that construct is inefficient and leaves the burden on us, the customer. Inefficiency isn't a concept we take lightly in 2024. - The QBO sync is not customizable. This is my personal reason for wanting to move to another product. The customization options that do exist are laughable and cause me constant headaches -- I literally have to plan my sync for a time when I can then sit and delete the data I didn't want to sync in. There's more, but those are my top 3 frustrations. **What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?** At the moment BigTime is working as a repository for our team's time and receipts, which are then available to get pulled into a client invoice. However, I've worked with many programs that do this and BigTime isn't any better than their competitors in this respect. ### 3. Support via phone is unavailable, you have to contact support via chat which they are almost always unavailable or send an email which takes a month for them to respond to. **What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?** They haven't solved anything, they have only created problems. ### 5. Neither is great, but it does have both. **What do you dislike about BigTime?** In the year we've used BigTime we've gone through 4 account rep transitions-there is a lot of turnover in their cusotmer support teams and communicaiton is lacking. **What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brings together time tracking, project management, and resource management options. ### 7. My low recommendation has nothing to do with her or the support I received today. **What do you dislike about BigTime?** We've had BT for over a year, and it has never worked fully for us. We have had multiple issues from setup to current. The chat support is good, but all other levels of support really lack. It has never been right. It's also strange how the user has to click a link below the timesheet in order to submit it - I feel like a button or bigger CTA would be better. Overall the look and feel is very clunky and needs a redesign. **Recommendations to others considering BigTime:** I feel there are better options out there that are easier for a user. Harvest for example is much cleaner, and easier to use. **What problems is BigTime solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'd love to solve the issue of reporting.
