But I guess it is inevitable. After using one of the bigger webinar platforms for years, I was frustrated by the lack functionality to present sales offers and also to get more interaction on the webinar. After moving to BigMarker, not only are we able to present nice pop-up offers, which was a game changer compared to just a boring link in a comments box with a competitor, but so many more features were helpful too. This included polls, questions, drawing, ease of switching screens, customising pages, including where attendees go after the webinar finishes. These little touches make a big difference to engage and convert leads. I know there is so much more possible with BigMarker, we haven't fully utilised it yet that's for sure. **What do you dislike about BigMarker?** I have run a few webinars where I get prompted that the connection is not stable enough, but that could be due to my own internet. You cannot share a powerpoint / keynote presentation directly when running a webinar, you need to save presentations as a PDF and upload instead. It's completely fine and workable, just something that you need to be mindful of and remember to do before each webinar (and when I've forgotten it only take a short moment to upload thankfully). **What problems is BigMarker solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a webinar tool to help boost interaction during our webinars and also help convert sales. BigMarker has helped us achieve both of those needs with a range of tools available to encourage interaction. Specifically, I really liked the 2D lobby, how I could incorporate the ad banner under the main stage, and leverage the gamification features. I also enjoyed how the CSM teams helped us set up the platform so we didn't have to worry about learning the interface. **What do you dislike about BigMarker?** I found the interface of the platform was not intuitive. It was difficult finding where to make edits or even the naming conventions were tricky since everything was called webinar but I was setting up an event. The integration was also tricky to set up with Active Campaign. I thought I could just set up the whole integration but didn't know I had to go into each webinar to integrate. **What problems is BigMarker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I didn't have any big problem. I think I would love to see the gamification feature built out so people can post on social. I think some structured calls with the CSM's will make it much easier to set-up the event. The biggest pro for us is that it just works. Flawlessly. You don't have to be a huge nerd to set it up. If you can answer questions about your event, that's all you need. It just works, and you wouldn't believe how rare that is in this field. I mean some of the competitors are bad enough to have cost us six figures in revenue simply because they malfunctioned during a live event. Fortunately, bigmarker works very well, even if you, the admin are broadcasting through a poor connection, which can happen if you're on the move a lot. It's intuitive for everyone - host, admin and attendee alike. Plus the zapier integration makes it a dream. Additionally, integrately is what we are transitioning to now, and it integrates well with Bigmarker. **What do you dislike about BigMarker?** Honestly, there were some flaws in the beginning, but those kinks have been ironed out. One of our events was recorded, and the recording wasn't available for downloading 2-3 days after the event, but that was a unique misfire that the team took care of in less than an hour of me contacting them. **Recommendations to others considering BigMarker:** For now, I can see no other solution for Webinars that I'd use. Bigmarker is IT. For me and my clients. **What problems is BigMarker solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest solution for us is converting prospects through live events. We have found webinars to be the greatest source of revenue for our business. With sometimes as few as a few dozen attendees, we hit the six figure revenue mark with webinars, which never happens with direct mail or email or even phone calls for us. It's social proof merged with live Q&A, and Bigmarker just makes it all flawless. ### 16. What stood out was the sheer number of customization options. It looked overwhelming, but I love the granular settings that make it look like I’ve built my own webinar platform. **What do you dislike about BigMarker?** It’s still lacking on the marketing side as this platform seems to be targeted to educational institutions and other types of lecture-type educators who aren't necessarily intent on making a sale. For example, there are limited pop-up options for a classic 2-step option -- the flow doesn't quite add up, and it's yet to be adjusted despite tickets. **What problems is BigMarker solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm hosting educational webinars but the hosts are typically digital marketers. The landing pages for the on-demand webinars aren't as good looking as the other templates 2. When I'm doing a live webinar, I have to start and stop the sharing from time to time in order to make changes on the Fly. Big Marker does not allow you to do that.
