I work for a global logistics and supply chain company and our IT team supports over 50 warehouses. We use BeyondTrust Password Safe to manage access for administrators handling critical systems such as our Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Platforms and SAP modules. It allowed us to grant temporary and session access without sharing static password, while recording every session for audit purposes. I also appreciate its integration capabilities with SAP and our identity provider Azure AD. Additionally, its RESR API was particularly helpful in syncing credential requests with our internal logistics ticketing systems. We implemented BeyondTrust Password Safe as our PAM solution for all our critical systems and accounts, including Linux servers and Oracle DBs. We used BeyondTrust’s ticketing system integration to enforce just-in-time access - developers had to raise a ServiceNow ticket and get it approved before they could fetch password or initiate privileged sessions. This drastically improved our audit readiness. We also used the auto discovery feature to continuously scan for unmanaged account across our hybrid infrastructure because it helped us to eliminate shadow admin accounts that we were not even aware existed. Although, the recordings were complete and usable, the live session proxy sometime introduced slight lags when multiple sessions were active simultaneously.
