It automatically track most of the goals, so no need to remind yourself to get on the app and log actions yourself. The habit score is a great way to know where you are, and if you have a great score for two weeks straight, you know it's time to raise your goals a little! I would loved for some of the goals to include more practical progress logging methods. For calling friends and family: I would loved if it could track other social media apps as many people use other apps beside just normal phone calls. This is the first app that just doesn't focus on your physical fitness but your mental fitness as well. I love going to see how I am doing for the week as far as reading, socializing, sleep, and more. Some of the apps are integrated making it easy to use and to keep you coming back to check in. The only thing I wish is my data about reading and other apps was an automatic thing (rather than a screenshot) but I understand the logistics of having apps talk to each other. Better You accurately syncs with my devices. It hold me accountable to reach goals I have set for myself. It is also fun to challenge friends/coworkers and try to beat them to completing the goal. Who doesn't like a little friendly competition. I like that I can also manually enter progress towards my goals as I live in a rural area and sometimes going to a place for check in to a goal is not always feasible. Aside from meeting my steps, sleep and fitness goals Better You gives the the opportunity to practice self care through reading, socialization and spirituality. It holds me accountable for creating that time for myself where before I would get distracted or busy and put that time on the back burner. I really like the way students can do Buddy Challenges and BetterBot Challenges as that really gets them motivated to beat each other and reach their goals first (I am competitive too and that always gets me to follow through with accomplishing my goals!) Of course, getting $5 gift cards also motivates the students to sign up and engage in the app. I found the data dashboard useful and meeting with my rep to see the engagement was valuable too. I find that it makes me more accountable. It's user friendly. Easy to connect to the Apple health app to track steps and meditation. I've had a little trouble with taking pictures of the screen time in settings to record fitness sessions. It didn't always record. But tech support was very responsive to the problem. BetterYou makes it easy to focus on well-being. This app runs in the background of your phone and incentivizes participation, keeping you engaged and working toward building healthy habits. You can set personal wellness goals, challenge your buddies, and be rewarded with actual gift cards that can be used at hundreds of different businesses. The customer support has also been top-notch! BetterYou has an extreme ease of use. Participants simply establish their goals and the app works in the background and does the rest. Adopting BetterYou was easy to implement and integrated naturally with the rest of our ecosystem. Our students and staff constantly talked about how often they use BetterYou and how features like the nudges keep them motivated.
