As someone who has used BetterUp, what I loved most was the feeling of having a personalized cheerleader in my corner. What do you dislike about BetterUp? It is a little tricky to find the best mentor for what I'm looking for, BUT I think that better up does a great job of giving the flexibility to choose. I am using BetterUp for career exploration and figuring out how I'd like to pivot away from customer-facing roles. I have a personal coach, and I have also taken advantage of targeted coaching in communication and giving and receiving feedback. The dedicated time to work on personal development with an experienced coach is invaluable. I have been encouraged to take more time for self-reflection and to make my goals clear so that I can focus and better prioritize. At the end of each session, the coaches help me to create an action plan. They also share resources available on the BetterUp portal that are related to the topics we discussed. There was a lot of material to review between coaching circle sessions, and at times I felt unprepared to engage in discussion. I think it's all about the time one puts into the program. It's so easy to get in and get up and running. Finding the right coaching for me and picking a coach, and then getting set up with the first session is super quick!
