I like how easy it is to use the platform and create everything on your own, without depending on a developer. I like the variety of space types and post formats. I like the integration with external links, such as Youtube, Spotify, Canva and others. I love the possibility of mass actions through automation and filtering on the admin side. Support is very present and responds quickly. In general, the platform has worked well and members of my community have been able to use it in a simple and objective way. Some things, in my opinion, are simple to apply but have been asking for over a year and have never been implemented. Example: possibility of scheduling a publication, possibility of adding more mandatory fields when registering new members, application of automatic tags using pre-configured keywords, being able to send a private message to all members without depending on external programs, such as Zapier. And another pain I feel is the Reports and Analytics part. Today I can't download the report data into a spreadsheet, which would make it much easier to put together the report I make here. I miss a view of engagement and data by Tags. And today, when I add new members to a space, it disrupts the view of Active Members for the period, the Reports understands that adding New Members to a space as the number of Active Members for that day. Another point is the lack of visibility into the delivery, opening and click rates of emails sent to members, such as notifications. And on this point, the delivery of posts from my community is very low, and with almost 5 thousand members, the average number of views per post is in the range of 20-30 views, which doesn't make sense. And because I don't have access to post delivery data or email notifications, I don't know how to act in this regard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. With almost 5 thousand members, we are able to communicate effectively with our customers and boost and train hundreds of service professionals here in Brazil, through content, events and exchanges in the Community. I like how easy it is to use the platform and create everything on your own, without depending on a developer. I like the variety of space types and post formats. I like the integration with external links, such as Youtube, Spotify, Canva and others. I love the possibility of mass actions through automation and filtering on the admin side. Tribe has provided me exactly what I was looking for, an online community with no dependency on a social platform that I can leverage for my business or brand. The support team has been responsive and the user community is helpful when it comes to customizing your community. So far, I am pleased with the result and hope that they continue to roll out improvements that directly benefit community users. That's why we are all doing this in the first place. To build a valuable knowledge base of information and media that is easy to access, navigate, and consume. You can tell that Tribe is still new and has limited resources. I don't dislike that, but if you require instant response times and expect your specific feature requests to be added quickly, you may be disappointed. As someone who’s been really interested in community software for years (and who’s used Buddypress and BBPress since 2016), I must admit that Tribe is one of the best tools I have found for the job. It creates a modern approach to community discussion which my team loves. The forum tool, for so long experienced little growth; the static nature of forums has made teams and communities switch to platforms like Discord or Slack, which possess disadvantages including inconvenient threading, the inability for messages to be indexed and horrible user profiles. Tribe is one of the few platforms that has created a home page for forum communities that people want to use. The home page is dynamic with gamification elements, channels take the place of boards in forums while maintaining the same functionality, and it means that Tribe feels like a community chat platform with the functionality of a forum, but the UX of a beautifully crafted Slack or Discord competitor - which it will be. As a proponent for open-source software and development, I am disappointed that Tribe is not open-source because I feel that so many people that use Tribe for their communities would have so much to give and offer Tribe through developing, however, this is something that doesn't really matter and regardless the project is going to go in the right directions, as seen by the recent update history. Richer user profiles with galleries (like in Buddypress) are something I missed after using Buddypress, and for someone who moderates/maintains a community that shares a lot of files a dedicated file space attributed to users and groups would be excellent. Deep linking with tools like Github & Gitlab for issues and discussions would be good; a lot of developers discuss their software on platforms like Tribe and this is something that I feel is quite important.
