Ease of account opening. I think its very hard to beat Betterment in ease. Also tax lot sales to generate 3K loss automatically each year at no extra cost is very helpful in new client acquisition. Their customer service response and positivity in helping RIA's has vastly improved after getting a new CEO few years back. Clearly she has brought a new attitude and vision for the company.
