BetterCloud does come with a reasonably high price tag. You have to make sure that you put in the work configuring your integrations and creating the workflows. Also doesn't seem to mesh as well with Microsoft as an IdP.

For the most part we use BetterCloud for user management. Our homeschool department gained more than 600 students last year, and being able to provide a spreadsheet to the registrar, have her quickly populate it with student information, and then import it with a click made our lives a dream and saved us a nightmare. We use it to create large numbers of locked-down exam account every year as well. Using that functionality alone has saved us enough man-hours to justify the license cost. I still regularly have issues where BetterCloud does not create all users successfully from a large batch, where they are put in the wrong group or OUl. I can manually resolve these issues, and I still save time overall, but it would be nice if this issue wouldn't happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BetterCloud simplifies my role as a G-suite administrator, allowing me to create custom, advanced automation, (through the use of Workflows), to reduce admin overhead and remove human mistakes from processes. This is crucial during the user onboarding/leaving process.

I also love BetterCloud's reporting and alerting - it expands and improves Google's in-built functionality and actually makes it useful!

Finally, dealing with BetterCloud employees is always a pleasure. They are happy to jump on a call and assist wherever they can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My biggest issue with BetterCloud is the initial learning curve. It does take some time to get up to speed with the platform on first use.

We utilize this product to automate many of our Google Workplace needs, but it offers many other integrations if needed. Automating our workflow needs has saved us a lot of time and speeds up the onboarding process. They keep expanding their lineup and services, and the product just works. BetterCloud has been an amazing SaaS tool that takes automation to another level while keeping it no-code. It's a great way to introduce anybody - whether they're in IT or not, as the dashboards, workflows, steps/actions are all straightforward to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only downside I can think of is if the integration doesn't already exist you'll either need to work with their integration team or build out an extended integration (if you have that premium service) to get it working how you'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I have noticed is when creating gmail accounts in mass it will move them to our root OU rather than allow us to move the emails directly into the correct OU Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to automate remediation tasks. For example, BetterCloud can notify the admin of someone going against sharing policy by sharing documents outside your organization and then take action by emailing and unsharing the document in question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
