The ability to roll out configurations, and standardize signatures and email filters across all of the business accounts is a truly remarkable time saver. The health and insight center is also an invaluable tool that can alert you to misconfigurations on the domain that could possibly lead to security disruptions. BetterCloud makes it very easy to integrate and build workflows with their built-in integrations. All actions or alerts are predefined, so there is no additional configuration or mapping that you need to do to get an integration working. Everything pretty much works "out of the box". You also have the ability to create custom integrations if they don't have a pre-built one, so that is a nice option. However, creating custom integrations is much more complicated than doing anything else with the platform, and has a steep learning curve. This functionality could definitely be improved, but I am still glad it is an option, and it can only get better from here.

BetterCloud support is also really good, with multiple different ways to get help, including live chat, where I always get a response within minutes of initiating. There are two different versions of BetterCloud that exist currently. G.bettercloud is their old platform that they typically don't recommend using anymore, while App.BetterCloud is the new platform that is actively being updated. We actively use both versions at our company.

G.bettercloud is old, and it feels old. The UI is dated and the functionality can be slow and very glitchy. However, it is much more intuitive to navigate and to take actions against user accounts than in app. It aligns much more closely to a typical web service in terms of administration.

App.bettercloud is much newer and much more responsive. However taking actions against individual user accounts is more cumbersome, with more steps that feel unnecessary.

App.bc is where all the workflow functionality lives. You cannot do anything with workflows in g.bc. So what ends up happening at our company is if we want to do anything with workflows, we will use app.bc, but if we need to interact with individual accounts or groups, we will use g.bc. The application's user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. This makes it simple for IT support personnel, even those with varying levels of technical expertise, to use the tool effectively. Bettercloud also offers a wide range of features that cover various aspects of IT support. Being able to set up customized workflows for offboarding tasks has significantly reduced the chance of human errors and streamlined our offboarding procedures. Bettercloud's audit tools provide an in-depth and granular view of our Google Drive data. The main concern I'd like to address is the lack of support for Google Shared Drive within the Google Drive Audit Tools. As an organization that heavily relies on Google Shared Drives for collaborative projects and team file management, this limitation has proven to be a significant drawback. Additionally, compound conditionals, which combine multiple conditions using logical operators (e.g., AND, OR), are essential for creating more sophisticated automation scenarios. They allow users to create workflows that take into account multiple factors before executing specific actions. Unfortunately, the current inability to utilize compound conditionals limits the full potential of the Workflows feature and may necessitate implementing cumbersome workarounds or multiple workflows. BetterCloud provides an easy-to-use and easy-to-design business automation tool. Unlike most other tools integrating and designing the workflow can be quite difficult. However, in BetterCloud, it could not be easier. The centralization of data also makes this much easier to audit all our critical tools for security purposes. BetterCloud Manage does not provide actions for all use cases. The most common activities you need are there, but sometimes there is no way to customize the workflow steps to what you need in some cases.
