It helps ensure that our new employees are set up properly and that outgoing employees are dealt with swiftly and completely. It allows us to remove access and modify all the proper settings when they leave. The ability to automate these tasks saves us a ton of time and labor when dealing with accounts as people enter and leave the organization. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, thanks to the BetterCloud onboarding team, who helped get us up and running quickly and explained all of the functionality and how to use the system. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** There are some integrations with certain SaaS platforms that are limited in their functionality and don't have some functions that we would prefer to use. It would be nice if they were able to flesh out some more complete and thorough functionality with various SaaS platforms that we utilize. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** BetterCloud helps us manage our SaaS software by automating menial tasks, saving time and labor in onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring proper setup and swift access removal. ### 2. I truly don't have a negative thing to say about BetterCloud. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** Really, nothing. But for the sake of being as objective as possible, it would be nice if they had open API available so I could map the fields of my choosing to Google Workspace. Example: pronouns. All my users want pronouns included in their signatures. I can create a custom field in Google Workspace to account for this. But the formal staff signatures are managed in bulk via BetterCloud. And presently BetterCloud does not account for custom fields and there are no options for me to map the fields myself. It's a very small thing. And i'm only including for the sake of being objective. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Streamlined workflows and ease of reporting. We are a small team. I am able to manage 84 active users with ease in large part thanks to BetterCloud. ### 3. Most of my work can be automated within BetterCloud which frees me up to do more important tasks. Antoher positivie is their fast and knowledgable support team. I've never had to wait for a response from a real person that can tackle my requests. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** One big gripe i have with BetterCloud is that their platforms are disjointed for Google. Would be great to have their legacy platform work with their new workflow platform. Part of tools like this is to consodliate and not have to jump around. There are also features found in similar free platforms that BetterCloud does not address. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem BetterCloud is solving is that I am a one person IT team for a group of 400 employees. Any time saved using automations and rich reporting is a plus in my books. ### 4. As well Things like delegation, shared inbox creation, and distribution list creation and updates are much easier through Better Cloud **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** The time it takes to sync with google. This causes issues with employee onboarding and any changes made to distribution list that are being implemented and need access a soon as possible **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** it has a lot of behind-the-scenes and app integrations that part of my team is working on to make life easier and more efficient. Plus the ease of use of the application makes it better for offboarding. I with there were an easier or automatic way too transfer user drive to manager at offboarding. ### 5. Everything is integrated, which makes onboarding and offboarding a breeze. Transferring files and ownership of docs is another thing that is now easy. Bettercloud also allows email/calendar delegation as well as the ability to assign people to Google groups. It works extremely seamlessly with Google. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** I use app.bettercloud and g.bettercloud separately and they both provide value. If these were somehow integrated to be the same application that would be beneficial. Also, sometimes it takes a while for the workflow to complete- checking the audit logs will let you know if it was successful or not. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onboarding, offboarding, dynamically revoking access, seeing the status of employees, transferring files and docs. Has been extremely beneficial and helps organize the IT team. Assign delegate access for email/calendar. ### 6. It has helped my organization tremendously to make our onboarding and offboarding processes more efficient and easy to implement. We use Bettercloud everyday and it integrates very well with our Google environment. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** We use ADP and currently Bettercloud does not have a full integration with ADP, which would help improve our automated processes with onboarding and offboarding immensly. I hope that as Bettercloud continues to grow that there will be more supported full integrations in the future. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problems we face is that we are constantly having to onboard and offboard users and doing it manually is quite tedious. Bettercloud has the tools to help us streamline the process and we now have created processes to make the experience easier for myself and my team. ### 8. The product needs some dedication to get up and running, but after that, it should provide a clear picture of what your enviornment looks like. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** The AI contract service takes a few days to process contracts. NonSaaS contracts don't exactly fit in the product. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Viewing access across all apps will be great for us. Onboarding is smoother, offboarding is smoother, even some items (like granting access to Office 365 and resetting passwords) are no longer touched internally, saving us a ton of time. There is also the g.bettercloud.com console, which is phenomenal. The interface provides you with a lot of the same actions as the workflows, but I can make edits more on-demand and bulk edit/actions a lot quicker. There are even some actions (e.g. delegating inboxes) which we are not capable of doing in the google admin console, but BetterCloud can do for us. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** I am a strong believer in dark mode, and will always decry its lack of availability. I haven't been able to visit the flight school yet, but I wish there were trainings around some integrations available (e.g. the who/what/when/where/how you need to create a zendesk ticket --> have bettercloud see this ticket --> perform actions in jamf pro, or another integration).' It's not a dislike but a "wish I could." I love the g.bettercloud.com console (As mentioned in my likes section). I'd love to see a similar dashboard made for other integrations. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** onboarding/offboarding - automating a lot of the work that used to be done manually, or used to be impossible in general (delegating inboxes in google workspace is a nightmare) DLP - I'm not on the security side, but I know we've used it to prevent items being shared that shouldn't, or restrict permissions (e.g. an external company was given edit access when it should have been view only). ### 16. It's an excellent SaaS operations tool that we use extensively for offboarding procedures and file audits/investigations. Additionally, the user interface is intuitive and the modular structure makes it simple for administrators to navigate and execute tasks within the platform. **What do you dislike about BetterCloud?** What I dislike about BetterCloud is the commercial model behind integrations, which is a pay-per-connect model. This can be limiting for organizations with a large application landscape and I feel that BetterCloud could improve the user experience by removing this restriction. Additionally, the integrations offered by BetterCloud are not uniform in terms of their level of sophistication, with some being highly advanced and beneficial while others are limited. Improving their integration capabilities by adding support for additional systems could be an improvement in the product. **What problems is BetterCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** BetterCloud is solving our need for automating the process between our IdP (Identity Provider) and Google Workspaces. This automation helps us manage identity lifecycle events and ensures that access controls are in place through group membership. Additionally, the automation helps us maintain a clean OU (Organizational Unit) structure within the directory. These features have greatly benefitted us by streamlining the identity management process and reducing the risk of manual errors. ### 17.
