I'm not too fond of the product. Honestly, I could not find anything good about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about BetterCloud? I was excited about this product, and I was blown away by all these positive reviews on G2. When we tried (purchased) the product, I had set up several workflows that never seemed to work. I ran into constant bugs that were resolved only when I completely recreated the workflow from scratch, and I constantly had to contact support to get even basic workflows to function. If I compared this product to a solution such as Okta or Workato, BetterCloud gets an F for me. We had to drop the product altogether, and we moved to Okta workflows for a perfect onboarding and offboarding experience, which I designed myself. BetterCloud also has minimal functionality with HR mastering and getting the data I needed from our HR solution. I was able to accomplish what BetterCloud couldn't with Okta workflows. It can be used to create some Data Loss Prevention workflows that you can create and use to prevent data loss. Everything else is a caveat and then ultimately a dislike. Waterfall workflows only, no decision trees, no data parsing/transforming, no ability to bring in data during the workflow, no visibility into why a failure occurred. LIttle no flexibility. Your experience is the opposite of our end goal for our customers and we value your feedback. We want to make sure we can help remediate the situation. I connected with our Support team to investigate why you may be facing delays within your Workflows. Overall, there are a variety of factors that are taken into consideration from the initial start to completion. For instance, we suggest different ways to structure workflows to make sure they are built in the most efficient way. One example would be to make sure the more complex Actions are the last steps in the Workflow (vs. some of the first) so the initial Actions can be completed quickly before moving onto the Actions that will require a longer period of time to complete. Additionally, please note that since we are making API calls, we are also working with various providers. Each provider that we connect with has different methods that allow us to pull information into BetterCloud. These schedules differ across providers to prevent us from hitting different API rate limits. That being said, we would love to help you and learn more about your current Workflow structure. What do you dislike about BetterCloud? - Too expensive - Very little systems integration - When you decide to go with BetterCloud, ensure that the systems you are using are currently supported. Ensure that your SaaS plans are on the enterprise level or BetterCloud is useless. - Initial onboarding had a lot of gray areas. They show you a demo of the top tier but then sell you the lower tier. - They don't make it clear that Shared Mailboxes (Gsuite) are considered as licenses. You have to ensure that this is clear from the beginning. During the initial conversations, they said it was just the number of users. We requested to not renew the YEARLY contract (No they can't manage to doo month contracts like most other SaaS companies) but they signed us up anyway. They then said we didn't do it 3 months before the current contract ran out. I submitted the email that stated we would not be renewing and they ignored it and would not reply except to send past due notices. There mafia attitude to YEARLY contract renewal is the main reason I will nor recommend them. That and we found that most of there service is not integrated into G Apps.
